Great atmosphere, great service, great food, good music and okay prices
Overly expencive food, and very poor service! If you go here, expect to be ignored and wait a long time for everything you order! The food is good, but not worth waiting or paying as much as you will need to. When I went with my boyfriend, we almost walked out because 30 minutes had gone by, and nobody had even asked us what we wanted to drink! As we were getting up to leave the waitress ran over and asked where we were going. She then took our order, but never came back with our drinks. We saw our food sitting up on top of the sushi bar for 15 minutes at least, after it had been made. We had to flag down the manager to get our drinks and food. Friends of mine have had similar experiences.
If you want decent sushi for a good price, this is the place. Just order the all you can eat menue, otherwise it can get pretty expencive fast. The sushi is pretty good, but it isn't anything special, and the quality of sushi doesn't change between the regular menue and the all you can eat menue. The all you can eat deal includes a large menue of soups, salads, rice, chicken/beef options, special sushi rolls, more common simple rolls, sashimi, individual rolls, and ice cream. The service is also just OK. The waitresses don't re fill drinks very often, and they will stare at you while you're eating. I also have noticed that it is always very slow, even on a friday night. It is not uncommon for us to be one of only 2 or 3 tables in the entire restaurant on a Friday or Saturday night.
I have lived in this area for a little while now, but last night was the first and last time I will ever eat there. The food is set up like a buffet, and there were many workers all over the place, and running into customers right and left while the workers were putting more food out, and the customers were trying to serve themselves. During my first time up to the buffet one of the employees looked me right in the eye, said excuse me, and actually pushed me out of the way as I was getting my food. She almost tipped over my food on me. I went up only once more after that, and the same woman did it again. She waited until I was getting food, and then she would push me over. I looked around, and it seemed like she was doing that to other people too. When I went to the hostes to ask for a manager, she pretended not to understand what I was saying. When a manager did come, I pointed to the woman, who had no name tag, and told her what happened. Both the hostes and the employee started laughing. The manager just said, "oh sorry, won't happen again" and then left without batting an eye lash, leaving the employee to continue doing what she was doing. I have never had such a horrable experience at a restaurant. I can't even begin to describe how angry I was. I felt like I was being prayed upon! My boyfriend and I ended up leaving before we were even finished our second plate we were so upset. He had a very similar experience with that same woman. Even the waitress who was supposed to get us our drinks was rude.
