Established in 2003, the Sierra Vista Academy is an educational institution that conducts classes in English, music and science for students in grades 6 through 12. It offers a range of academic and extracurricular programs, as well as instruction in art, physical education, math, social studies and reading. The Sierra Vista Academy also provides special education, prevention and transition housing programs, as well as online computer courses. It also conducts Positive Behavior Intervention Supports emphasizing (PRIDE), which is a student enrichment program that focuses on role modeling and involves children and staff members. Additionally, the institution maintains a library that stocks a variety of books, magazines and reference materials.
