Florist Kim's

I ordered a corsage over the phone (she didn't tell me she usually doesn't do that) and was very, very specific about what we needed. I told her the dress was navy with a silver jacket, and we wanted navy, silver, red and white. I even read the text to her from my son's date. She assured me she'd been doing this for 30 years and it would be beautiful. My son drove 30 minutes one way to pick up and when he came home (30 more minutes) it was the wrong color!! They'd used black. NO BLUE ANYWHERE AND IT DOESN'T MATCH THE DRESS. I called her, and explained THEIR error. She verified I did ask for navy but said THEY DECIDED the black would look better. Say what?!?! She said bring it back and she would try to fix it by adding some blue ribbon with the black--she said there was no time to make anything new, and it couldn't be pulled apart as it was glued. Long story short, she did make two more for him to look at (she didn't tell me she was going to do that) but by then it's TOO LATE, it's the day of the event, he has to leave, and we're out of time. When I called to let her know we had no time to bring it back to be fixed, (again, I didn't know she was making anything else) she was not happy with me. She made me feel as if it were my fault THEY put the wrong colors in. I'll be honest, my feelings were hurt. I thanked her and told her I would be taking my business elsewhere. Her response? "Oh?! Great!" and hung up. My son's date is now stuck with a corsage that doesn't match for her first and only formal. I felt like crying.
