I love the tacos at Mirta's! But the trailer they were in on I10 is not there anymore. Does anyone know where they moved?2013-They're back in a new metal building. Tacos are AWESOME!!!
Ruben's has been in my family for generations. When i finally was old enough my aunt let me work for a day. just a day. that was all it took to understand how hard those ladies worked. in christmas time there are no exceptions to waiting for tamales. my dad would wait outside at 2am in the cold …
Mr. Martinez only makes homemade tamales and they are incredible. Not only that, he will make you whatever kind you like...I am especially enamored with his bean & jalapeno. I buy them and freeze them. They make an impressive hospitality gift!
We've been ordering Delicious Tamales for a very long time. They were part of our Superbowl Party (Go Saints!) and our recent Cinco de Mayo bash. I've met people all over the U.S. who know about these delectable wonders from San Antonio. They are truly an institution! I recommend ordering over 1…

Visiting San Antonio over the weekend from LA. Read the reviews and made an effort to find this place, and we were not disappointed. The tamales, salsa, and tortillas are amazing. If you love Mexican food, this place is a must when visiting San Antonio.
We love Garcia's! We like to eat here on Friday's when we are running errands .
We love their nachos, simple and yummy and great to share late at night!
NEVER go there. They forgot our tortillas for our Fahita platter in our takeout bag which of course we did not notice until we got home 17 miles later. Then we noticed the amount of fahitas in the small Styrofoam container seemed small....we weighed it and it weighed 10.5 ounces. We have the photo. Menu specifically says it is supposed to be 1 pound. So $29 later still hungry with little meat and no tortillas.
A Roach crawled off the top of our nachos and onto the table. When I discreetly tried to inform the assistant manager, she tried to insinuate that I must have made a mistake. She finally gave us our money back and we left the roach infested food on the table. Thankfully, we had just picked it up from the counter and didn't get to eat of it!
Went here for dinner tonight. The staff are very friendly and ensures your every need is met. The tacos a la mexicana are yummy and the beans are awesome! The jalapeño ranch dressing served with the chips is very tasty. The queso fundido...it was ok...a little too salty and greasy. The mango margarita was good but the jalapeño margarita was not great...too tart and not spicy... nothing special for the price. The place is cute but our booth needed a bit of deep cleaning near the window. On the weekends they have live music out on the patio. That was really nice!
the place was busy so they put us in a party room. we sat for 20 minutes before they took our drink order. the food was okay taco cabana taste the same. had to get up and get our own refills on drinks
Good food and always eat here. They are now building a restaurant and will be open hopefully within the up coming year.
