Reviews
Aww Dangs is the best Asian food in Texas. We have followed Dang from two other restaurants where she used to work. Dang has a memory like a steel trap lol I first met her when I joined my parents for dinner and the second visit she remembered not only my name but what I had ordered down to my preference for crabmeat Rangoon(which is awesome) Her Resturant is immaculately clean and beautifuly decorated. Ask her about her jewelry she has for sale lol she will love to show you. She doesn’t scrimp on her ingredients like some Chinese Resturant’s..no fatty beef or cheep stringy dark meat chicken in her dishes..only quality beef and white meat chicken. I have never had a dish that wasn’t delicious. She is the sweetest person and has a loyal following. AWESOME FOOD recommend cashew chicken or sesame beef which are my favorite.
The food is delicious and the family that owns the restaurant are very nice, our to go chinese food place!
One of our favorite places to eat and Dang and her husband are two of our favorite people. Have never had a bad meal there--always tasty--and the service has been top notch.

Provided by Citysearch -A delightful establishment! Nice atmosphere. The topiaries at the front door provide a beautiful welcoming. The food was very good, freshly prepared and served hot. My husband had shrimp with vegetables; the dish was filled with fresh vegetables and a considerable amount of shrimp. I enjoyed the Kung Pao chicken. This is by far the best Chinese food I have had in a very long time. The crab rangoons were the best I think I have ever had. The dessert was also enjoyable. The service was very good; the staff were friendly, prompt and attentive. We found the prices to be very reasonable for the amount of food we received. I did not agree with one of the previous reviewers that it was expensive. This place must have the cleanest bathrooms in the entire san Antonio area! I will nominate this restaurant for the Blue Plate award! The hostess informed us they have a buffet on Saturday evenings. We will definitely be returning customers.

Provided by Citysearch -Stopped in for dinner, just the wife & I. She had the large ""enough for a meal"" hot and sour soup. I had a cup of the same with my meal. The hot and sour soup is simply delicious! The best anywhere.
Service was good. Had a new waitress that took a little time, but we were in no hurry, and the orders came out just as we asked for them. We changed up the order of things a little and she did just fine.
The food was piping hot and had excellent flavor. I had the Chicken Lo Mein. Not only was it very tasty, there was enough for a second meal, so I asked for a box. The waitress put the food in the box for me, rather than just handing me the box. Good job!
The owner, Dang Clarke, came over and visited with us a bit even though some of her personal friends were at a large table across the way. She didn't ignore the rest of her customers as some would do.
All in all, an excellent experience. We'll be back!

Provided by Citysearch -Ordered takeout of 2 entrees and 2 appetizers for 45 bucks so expected it to be great. The rice noodles were mush, the strirfry bland, the summer rolls should have been called vermicelli and a shrimp rolls and although they claim to have vietnamese it's really a poor attempt at rearranging the chinese menu. They even charge for fortune cookies. The other place in town-Kowloon has better food for a lot less dinero.

Provided by Citysearch -Been there twice and greatly enjoyed it. I had the sesame beef and the orange beef (wonderful). My wife had a Viet dish with lemon grass, and she loved it. Good service, atmosphere.
