Not even close. A big talker who promises everything and does not deliver. Got an estimate for the downstairs and upstairs wood floors of a house. Agreed on a start date and was promised a signed contract. Never received a contract of any kind even after repeated reminders. Then kept rescheduling the job to fit us in between bigger jobs because he needed the money (remember he likes to talk). When he finally started the downstairs he was very rushed from the start. There was a stained area which wasn't noticed before. He did not suggest or try any simple methods to lighten it instead saying it would cost at least $1200 to replace a few boards. He rushed the whole way through and wanted to put the second coat on the same day instead of waiting 24 hours. When he finished the downstairs the results were poor with an uneven finish/swirl marks and filler that was haphazardly applied. When he said he couldn't get to the upstairs for two weeks we said no thanks. Definitely not precision.

found him and his son to be nothing but a pleasure to work with.they worked clean,showed up on time and fixed a floor that a other floor guy would not fix.gave us a fair price and a name of a contracter for other work that we needed to have done.would recomend him to all of my friends and family

I would recommend Tom's Precision Floors. Tom and his Son did a beautiful job on sanding and refinishing all the hardwood floors in our home. They were a pleasure to work with. We are so happy that we found Tom's precision Floors
