I purchased a lawn mower 1 year ago at this store. The salesman pushed the Extended Warranty on me, & lied. telling me it covered everything, stating that I could do anything out of negligence & it would be covered.
At home, I unbox the mower & find 1" "dent", dented from the underside, protruding up. Clearly done at factory before painted. I called the salesman, who told me either return it, or if I could live with it, not to worry, if later the paint cracked, I'd get a replacement or new deck.
I just found the paint cracked to bare metal, which began rusting. I calld Repair & Parts across from main store. 7 calls, but no answer.
I call store's Lawn & Garden - same thing. Redialing, finally get Operator, who gets the Lawn & Garden Mgr, a pushy, aggressive one, I knew when she managed a Sears Hdwe, where I purchased a tractor & her Asst. Mgr. tried to cheat me.
Now manager of Lawn & Garden. she states "cosmetic not covered regardless what he told you." That's Sears - LIARS!
I came for help - one of my tool which I had bought at Sears with lifetime warranty broke - guy at front desk was very rude and said he cannot help me because he cannot find me in the computer ! I asked to speak with the manager - he called for him and left me there alone - he walked away ! And I was waiting 50minutes - nobody came so I left. I would never go back to this sears store ! the worst customer service ever ! I do not recommend it to anybody
