AWFUL service, goes by Rollo/Groscot enterprises now



Art and Jen sounded like a nice couple. Never met Jen but spoke with her on the phone. We showed up to a "show room" in a warehouse that had a handful of pieces thrown together haphazardly. Jen along with her mother-in-law is supposedly an interior decorator, didn't look like it.

When I asked about the shady company that I could not find any reviews about online, I received an answer of well, Schaumburg has trusted us for over 11 years and if you give us your credit card you have fraud protection. Who wants to go through the headache of fraud protection/claims... NOONE! He became irritated on the phone with me because I wouldn't buy right NOW. I told him that I was not the only one involved in the decision making process. He said that he needed to know ASAP because he had to put in the orders before the furniture was gone. He was very pushy. I said I'd have to discuss it and would get back to him by the 9am deadline he gave me. We tried looking up the name of his company that was posted on the sign as you enter the industrial area. Rollo/Groscost enterprises and found nothing about them or any history other that the mere fact that they exist. Based on that and Art's attitude towards our simple and fair questions trying to ensure that we were not getting cheated we decided against buying from him.

I let him know that we were not interested in purchasing the furniture for him and told him why: "Thank you for your time, but we will not be placing an order with you. You were lessthan patient over the phone with me yesterday and came across as just rude. There's a way to talk to and you clearly don't care. You were trying to pressure me into making a decision that I was obviously not comfortable making and on top of that you seemed irritated with us for asking a couple sensible questions about your company."

Art called me and felt the need to yell at me and tell me that he had NEVER been so insulted in his whole life (all this because I said that he was "less than patient", which he repeated a number of times during his rant). Not once did I lose my cool with him or even raise my voice during our conversation. He ended his rant with " you fu**ing ungrateful spoiled bit**", I said "Okay, thank you, have a great day sir" and then he hung up.

THEN, he starteded texting me saying that I shouldn't take my problems out on other people and it's not nice.

PSYCHO!!!



Bottom line: Art is an immature, egotistical, unprofessional man child.



PMD Furniture has changed their name to Rollo/Groscost Enterprises...probably due to issues such as these in the past. No suprise there!
