I have had my clothes tailored at the Red Brick Tailor shop for the last 10 years and have always been extremely pleased with their work. They have hemmed my pants and jeans, taken in my suit coats and shirts, and tailored the inseam of my dress pants with no issues. A while ago, through no fault of the tailor shop, the hem came loose on one of my dress pants ands they fixed it on the spot. Great job! Based on my experience, I highly recommend them to anyone needing their clothes tailored.
I took my bridesmaid dress here and when returened it was like nothing had been altered at all. I asked for the dress to be taken in and when I tried it on after picking it up it was just as before. I had no time to fix it and had to use many safety pins to pull the dress in on the wedding day. Waste of 45 bucks.

Provided by CitysearchOk. Maybe it's just been too long since I have had to have any tailoring done on my clothing, but $30 to hem a pair of pants??? Is that the going rate??
I need to learn how to sew.

Provided by CitysearchCould NEVER recommend anyone getting something dry cleaned here let alone get any piece of clothing tailored. I entrusted them with my wedding dress, which was a big mistake. They did a sloppy job with the tailoring -- left the slip longer than the dress, made the dress too short and didn't leave enough hem to be able to let it down and fix their mistake, and the hemming was uneven - literally longer on one side than the other. When I followed up with the owner about the issue, she would not even listen to me. She took absolutely no responsibility for her shoddy work, and refused to even refund me the $85 I threw away for the tailoring. On top of this, my dress is ruined. I had to buy a new one. Bottom line is horrible customer service, even worse tailoring, and a complete waste of money. I am sad that this type of business is open in Portland.
