I recently had a hankering for some bar-b-q. I had heard of a place on wilmington island named Bullucks. I was hesitant at first because I consider myself a bar-b-q expert. I went in and immediatley was impressed with the atmosphere and the great smell. I ordered a bar-b-q plate with brunswick stew and collard greens and an ice cold beer. The sauce they had was the best sauce I have ever tasted, the meat was not pulled but chopped which is really the only way to serve it. The portions were more than fair. I was tempted to get some for the road but I liked this place so much I will eat at the location again very soon. I cant say enough about this place,if you dont believe me try it yourself.
I was traveling to savannah on business and am always on the hunt for nice silver dollars and was told to check this place out. Mr Cobb is super friendly and very knowledgeable. He had a nice selection of Morgans and peace dollars as well as American eagles and other silver coins. All the prices were up front and very reasonable. If you are like me and like to scoop up a beautiful Morgan every now and then you should definitely go see mr. Cobb. I know I will next time I come through.
Hilliards use to be the place to go. Big hot plates no matter what you ordered. Still good sweet tea and attentive waitresses but that is all. The prices have gone up which I can understand buy the quality and amount has not kept pace. Prime example I complained about an order once and the waitress said Oh I will have them make you another plate from scratch. Really? Cooked, reheated and then served? Its a shame
Many galleries in one easy to see place! Don't miss Oksana Fine Art Gallery & Studio on the second floor just opposite the elevator. Oksana learned art in the Ukraine and paints in watercolor and oil. Birds, flowers, faces, historic buildings, fountains and wild animals. Some all in the same painting! A must see in Savannah
Diaspora Marketplace is a storefront of rich African culture and expressions from around the world. Today it sits, as it did at its opening in February 2001, as a leading source for distinctive African wares. The proprietor and staff are warm and the store is inviting.
Great food. Great Service. The Brunswick stew and Fried Green Tomatoes are to Die For. The Owner Frank Ouzts is Hands on and makes sure your Visit is Fantastic. If your looking for Both BBQ and Seafood, this is the place!
Talk about value for money! The food is great, the staff is very friendly, quick service, and plenty of food! I ordered the ribs, they were succulent melt-in your-mouth goodness! Love it, loved it, love it!!!
Everytime i go there i get bad service!!! The sprimp is either too hard with no season on it and the fries are half done. They need to hire people who know how to cook and stop serving bad food.
The food and service was great. The music was WAY too loud. You could not even carry on a conversation with the other person.
