The Distillery

Yes you wait but that is part of the Southern Charm. The crab soup was awesome. Went to The Distillery the first night arriving in Savannah and went back 3 more times for the soup. Loved having the 3 Stooges movies on TV even if you could not hear them the restaurant is loud. If oyu are looking for quiet and romantic not the place but a GREAT bowl soup it is the place to go. Just wish they would give me the recipe. :-)

This place is great if you want a big beer selection. Don't plan on eating there unless you have all night. They will tell you you'll have a table in 25 minutes but it will be more like 45. Then plan on waiting at least an hour for your food. Oh and if you're planning on having more than one drink, order them all at once. You may never see your waitress because she doesn't want to tell you your food isn't ready yet.
