Do not use this cleaner. Don't even think about it. You will be shocked not only by the poor service but also the astounding cost. Let the market speak and let this business wither away. If you want your shirts folded (beware the extra cost) they will charge for that but you will find them hung. If you want them hung they will substitute someone else's shirt for your own and then insist that the shirt you don't own really is your shirt. Also they charge extra for a shirt with two pockets. What? No explanation could be given for this little quirk other than a shoulder shrug. Oh, and they sell themselves as being 'green'. Why then the non-returnable plastic hangers (which if you want your shirts folded you did not want anyway). There is no place for this kind of place and it astounds me that it remains in business. Find another cleaner. It may take a while to find the one you want but you can eleminate this one now to shorten your search,
This company was recommended as I was an out-of-town bride who needed her wedding dress pressed. We brought all the men's suits and shirts in as well, for an overnight appt. I told them the dress would need to be ready by 10am on a Friday, as my wedding was at 4pm.
My planner went to go pick it up and when she brought it back, we realized it wasn't ever (or didn't appear to be) touched/pressed. We called instantly and they said they pressed it on Thursday (when we dropped it off) and then put it back in the garment bag. Really? So you press it and throw it back in a bag to get wrinkled, and then call yourselves professionals when we told you the wedding time? This led us to take a closer look and this is when we realized they SNAGGED my gown. I did NOT have a cheap gown and there was NO way to fix it. They ruined my dress!!!!!
Also, 1 of the guy's shirts was pressed with the button flap folded the wrong way so we had to bring that back as well.
We had to stay in town longer so we could meet with the owner. He denied any responsibility for the damage. I was SO upset. That being said, he still gave us a refund of the fee paid (just under $200!) so clearly he knew he was wrong...
David's Dry Cleaners always strives to provide the best service to our customers. Unfortunately, this customer was not happy with the service provided and we regret that. We feel that we handled the situation the best we could given the circumstances that are not all stated in this review.
