Manasota Roofing misdiagnosed the problem, were paid in full and when I tried to reach them by phone, text and email numerous times I was completely ignored. WARNING!!!! ROOF LEAKING HORRIBLY!!!!Hired Shewski Roofing to do repair work on my 18 year old Tile Roof, which was *NOT* leaking. I signed a Contract with Shewski on 1/9/2017 and then THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! Week after week I called them and "Doug" kept telling me "next week". It is now 3/20/2017--10 weeks later--and now my roof IS LEAKING through the ceiling in my kitchen. I just bought the house and have a detailed Inspection Report that shows NO LEAKS. I'm beyond upset. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! Obviously POOR SERVICE to the point that now they've COST ME EVEN MORE MONEY EXTRA $$$$ to repair a LEAK & INSIDE CEILING DAMAGE. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!
Yoder Roofing did 4 roofs for us. Super people to deal with! Had five bids. They were not the cheapest nor the most expensive. They do quality work, do what they say they will do and when they say they will do it, are very honest, and clean up after themselves.I would heartily recommend them.
I would like consumers to be aware that when you call/receive an estimate after waiting a month for the appointment this company does not even wait to meet with the owner to accurately assess the project. If you request another estimate-in my case a whole year later waiting a month again-they will tell you they are coming, confirm the day before and then email you instead of calling to say they are NOT coming because an estimate is already on file. Of course don't hold them to that inaccurate estimate because it clearly states validity for 15 days. If this company is too lazy to generate an accurate estimate and too lazy to communicate that they are not keeping their appointment then what does that say about the quality of work. The good news is they were too lazy to come out so I'm lucky enough to not have my roof ruinedAnd my hard earned money wasted!
Kauffman Glass and Mirror was a great business to work with when I remodeled my bathroom. Brian the Owner was very kind when he came out to my house for measurement. Once glass had arrived, the office staff was nice enough to let me know there was an issue and they had to remake my panel but they gave me a new ETA - i didn't have to wonder. Over all Kauffman Glass and Mirror, is professional and honest - very few companies left that share a close bond within their company.

My family hired Liqua Roof do a 26 year old tile roof in January 2015 in Nokomis, Florida. We had many different roofing contractors who told us the roof was shot and we needed a new roof. Then I saw this ad on craigslist that caught my attention. We met with the Liqua Roof owner in The Sarasota Area and he said that he could save our roof that this new technology was a perfect application for our roof and that he would guarantee it for 20 years ( By the way a guarantee is only as good as the company offering it ). Well after they cashed our check of $8,400.00 at Amscot (yes Amscot they did not even have a real bank account) they said the job would only take three days, that was completely false. They left a mess, paint all over the driveway, facia board, A/C unit. They came back in dribs and drabs, a little bit at a time. At one point the owner said he did not have the money to get the extra product he needed to finish the job. After more and more delays, the roof continued to leak. They would come back when they felt like coming back never taking into consideration that our roof was leaking and it was causing damage to the ceilings. They tried to blame it on the structure of the roof, so we had real contractors come in and verify that there was nothing structurally wrong with our roof. Then it was they think they skipped a step in the process ( What really you skipped a step in the process!!!).To make a long story short, they have not honored the warranty, we have a roof in much worse shape now then before they started 8 months ago and we have been told to go ahead and take them to court. In fact the phrase was " Go ahead you can't get blood from a turnip" This was a horrible experience and this company was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. If your thinking about saving money on a roof do your homework, we are paying for just going in blindly and trusting that this was a reputable company. They are not contractors and they have no real knowledge about roofs in my opinion. Ask to see their license, also ask to see their insurance. They will tell you they don't need insurance that the people they use to get on your roof are the ones who carry the insurance. Make sure you ask to see that and verify they actually have a million dollar coverage, never let someone get on your roof without insurance. We would not ever think of recommending this company to our worst enemies. This is a legit review from a real customer.
Worst company I have ever hired, it took them three times to get my Hydro Slide shower and shelves right, the installer (Darren) told me and my wife, that if he really wanted to do this right he should pull it all out and re-install it right, huge gaps at the bottom, shower leaked ruining my cabinet base.The third time however was the charm, the installer (Michael) fixed the shower and shelves.However I would not use them again because of the rude way Brian Kauffman and the office staff treated us.
