Worst customer service ever. Laura Plum is one of the rudest people I have ever worked with. Have never had anyone I hired talked to me the way she did! Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. I own a small business and had them do my taxes one year. My taxes were rejected my the IRS, she told me to ignore the letter I received from the IRS. Would not help me fix the problem. Will be finding new accountants ASAP!
My wife and I were told our taxes would be done by April 15th. Then we were told an extension had to be filed because they didn't want to 'rush it". A few weeks later we were told it wasn't done because they had to fire a senior exec. Then we were told it was going to be done immediately. A week later and a short vacation, we were promised it would be done as soon as he returned (Joe P.) A week afterwards we were told he got food poisoning and lost time. It's now June and still nothing but excuses, aggressive procrastination. An earlier email to Brent Myers went unanswered for as long. Avoid this firm or you'll find yourself chasing your own tail. The CPA designation more appropriately means Certified Procrastinators Anonymous. Inquiries go unanswered, excuses abound and it was like pulling teeth to get the taxes filed. It's June 1st and they still haven't been filed. The worst CPA firm I've had the displeasure of dealing with.
Do not use this company, Steven Spangler to be exact. Please save yourself the trouble, they constantly make mistakes, do not take responsibility for their mess ups, and are overall rude. They were hired to do business's taxes and e-file. They were never filed because they simply forgot to do it out of their carelessness. After the fact, they claimed they never got signed E-File Forms, but Diann the office manager from Cavanaugh And Co LLP Venice office sent correspondence that all the forms where signed and everything was taken care of. Bottom Line - You need someone you can trust to do your accounting and Taxes, Cavanaugh And Co LLP is clearly not the correct choice.
Our business and personal taxes have been taken care of by Evenson Accounting for over 15 years. Love dealing with them. Knowledgeable and professional
We rented offices from John Mercurio , who repeatedly told us we could not place a sign for our business on the street because it was allegedly against the law; when, to the contrary, John's new tenants have a large sign on the street exactly where he told us we could not put our sign, costing us significant loss of traffic and tax-deductible donations for TWO YEARS.We also discovered that John had major remodeling done to the office building without any permits at first until the City of Sarasota shut down the remodeling for weeks. We are totally disheartened by John's conduct.
I am really disappointed by the owners lack of integrity. We agreed to partner with Wonderland Hookah to help them promote the store and get more college customers in the door. We spent half our day building a lounge space for them at a party attended by over 500 people. Not only did they not show up, they didn't even call to tell us they had to cancel. I had to call them an hour after they were supposed to be here and was received with a curt apology and list of excuses. Leadership starts at the top, and as convenient as it is to grab Hookah a mile away from my home, there are plenty of other shops who will be getting my business.
This is an interesting CAFE' & certainly not a "gourmet" eatery. I'd have givenit 5 Stars except I ate there when the experienced Chef David wasn't in the cucina...nowheres near as properly prepared Southern Italian without him!!Day Serving lady Linda truly knows how to suggest the right wines with dishes& she makes the Cafe' into a real "neighborhood-style eatery". Started eating herewhen place opened - "new" addition of Gabriella for Evening Dining a true + as shehas detailed knowledge of Souther Italian wines & foods & caring for her guests!Truly a nice, rough n tough, yet charming place to eat, drink & be jolly as my manytrips to Amalfi Coast, all way thru Sicily has shown me ... have recommended to manySarasota friends, but try to be there when detailed orientated David is in residence ascooks need his expertise badly. IF you are a "coffee freak" do NOT pass up a poundof coffee - no place in Sarasota grinds green coffee beans right in front of you to takehome - incredible! A Cafe'-Winery is a needed place here in south Sarasota! Added thrill is when BLUE KNIGHTS reserve tables & fills up a room--Wow!Talk about a "safe" environment! Soon outside dining will be completed for joy ofEuropean-minded foodies.
This is one of the nicest and most comfortable hookah places around. Whether you are looking to just chill and smoke or buy a beautiful hookah and all the supplies..this is the place to go. You feel transported to Morocco with the decor and background music. Don't forget to have an express or tea..delicious :)
This restaurant had a "2 Dine for $30" deal that was great. EACH of us got an appetizer, entree and drink (wine, soda or tea). I had the daily fish special which was cooked to perfection. The wife had steak & asparagus and she said it was great too. We split a very tasty dessert too. I don't live in Sarasota, but if there are other Madfish Grills out there, I'm there. If not, I'll be back during my next visit to Sarasota.
I love this club. Its on Siesta Key in Sarasota right by the hotel we stayed at on the beach. This place is super sexy! It has multiple levels, different bars lots of bartenders, friendly service you name it. We had a blast!
