Needed to sell a coin collection and some old watches from my fathers estate. I did not want to sell them but needed the money. My wife and I tried a pawn shop, and a coin dealer, both came up with a price under $2000 for the coins, the coin store would not take the watches, the pawn shop only wanted the gold watch. My doctor recommended Cooper Enterprises, from the very first moment of walking in it was like night and day of the other stores. We were greeted by a British man, the store was clean, the staff well dressed, the inside of the store is like a museum. The price on the coins was slightly better than the other coin store, not much a few hundred dollars, but the price on the watches, blew us away. For one of the non working, non gold pocket watches he paid $4,200. The other watches came to another $2,300.How other stores in Sarasota are allowed to get away without paying the real price is just wrong. Cooper’s put us under no pressure, they explained everything and did everything in fine detail. I have never written a review before, in my mind if a business is in business and is making money that good enough, but the difference was remarkable, I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Knowledgeable, friendly staff. I brought in some old coins and rare currency. Was not sure what to expect but they seemed to give me a fair price as well as some advice on what to sell, what to hold and what to spend. I would recommend them.
Loved this place, Mr Cooper was very helpful and has so much knowledge I am sure he must be plugged into a computer or something. Paid the highest out of the 4 places I tried and was helpful. Thanks guys you made our year end well.
Very comfortable atmosphere where I was treated with respect. I had a fun time there learning about my old coins and after further research, I believe that the best deal on my coins there.
