Dr. David Chorley

Dr. Chorley is an excellent physician. Never rushes you through an appointment. Takes the time to ask questions that help him to diagnose something that might otherwise be missed. This doctor saved my husbands life by diagnosing bladder cancer while it was still small, before it had a chance to grow bigger or even worse spread throughout his body. He is compassionate, caring, thourough, and an excellent doctor. I trust him completely. His staff has always been courteous and professional with me.

wonderful doctor

Just wanted to respond to rubyteared report on Dr. Chorley.. I in fact am Dr. Chorleys nurse and have been now for 2 years. I can promise you that each time a patient comes into the back i personally take the vitals that includes bp, pulse and respirations. If Dr. Chorley gave you free samples then had you come back every month it was to monitor your bp to make sure the meds were the proper ones for you to be on. If you are who i think you are you were dismissed for rude behavior to the office staff at the front desk. You probably also are one that was dismissed for getting narcotics from multiple doctors. If he hadn't given you the free samples but instead wrote you a script you would be moaning about the high cost and still have to go in to have your bp monitored. So he actually saved you money... Dr Chorley is a very good doctor and a thoughtful man, sometimes he is to softhearted and lets people run over him because he doesn't want to hurt them. HE only dismisses from his practice when the circumstances are bad , not just a few no showed appts.. thats just the tip of your problem i'm sure.

David Chorley DO - Family Medical Service

I have known Dr. Chorley as a professional and have been a personal patient of his for 10 years or longer.
I first started seeing Dr. Chorley and working with him as a professional when he completed his residency.
I found that his practice as a professional has only increased over the years. I have not personally worked with him as a professional for several years. Yet, I continue to drive 300 miles one way to keep him as my personal physician because I trust him. That's something that's very hard to find in a doctor. He has always taken the time to listen and he is excellent with children, young adults, middle age and even the elderly. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is the kind of doctor that will go out of his way to find out what is your physical problem. Yes, sometimes it takes time. We can't expect everything physically to be resolved in fashion such as a fast food chain. If you are honest with him, he will listen, and take care of you. He's also a christian and man of integrity. So if you want to find a doctor who you can trust and rely on and one you know who is looking out for your best interest go to him. He specializes in family practice.
If he doesn't know the answer - then he will find the right medical individual who can further assist you.

rude staff, doctor with poor practices, uncaring

I started going to Chorley early this year with high b pressure and numerous other symptoms, including temporary blindness and fainting. He gave me samples of lotrel, advertising them as ""free"", yet had me return every single month to get more ""free samples"". A practice pharmaceuticals do NOT provide samples for.

While he was making me this ""deal"", I was forking out cash in full to him and his office. Evidently, I was supposed to be blind to the fact that I was still paying for the meds by giving HIM money, rather than the pharmacies.

My pressure was dangerously high, and yet twice - only TWICE - in EIGHT MONTHS did anyone ever check my pressure. I was simply asked a few questions, given samples and sent on my way to put cash in their pockets.

Once during my period as one of his patients, I had to have a prescription called in THREE times to get it right. I needed pressure meds, instead I got a kidney medication, and a seizure medication before it was finally called in correctly.

The last straw came when I made an appointment, and on the day of the appointment found out that it was mis-scheduled by the office for the second time in as many months. I missed my appointment because of their mistake, and had to reschedule yet again.

When I showed up for that appointment, Chorley would not check my pressure until I demanded it, and then informed me that I was being ""dismissed"" as a patient due to ""failure to show up to my appointments"". Shocked, I tried to tell him that the office had been screwing up my appointments. He more or less gave me ""the hand"" and walked away.

Earlier on, I had been changed abruptly from one medication to another, which is dangerous and can cause a heart attack .he told me to just change the medication. I became ill a day later, with a large adrenaline rush (side effect of the previous med) that left me red faced, short of breath, with a severe headache.

I am thoroughly disgusted with this doctor and his practices.

Dr Chorley

He's the best doctor I have ever seen. The one and only thing I would complain about is the phone system at his practice. They need to fix that so the medical assistant gets messages.
