If you are considering purchasing a home here please do what I did NOT do and ask the neighbors their opinion on management. Spend some time talking to Cheryl the manager, get to know her really well because that is something I did not do either. Cheryl is not easy to get along with and I am being kind about this. I lost my shirt moving out of this park and it was the best thing I ever did. I lost a very large down payment and I had to pay several thousand dollars to the Real Estate Agent to sell my home. I am so grateful to be out. They do not like to allow use of the clubhouse and while Cheryl was out on vacation one of the brothers allowed us to use it. We had a Representative of GSMOL come to speak with us about organizing a chapter in the park and Cheryl's Attorney brother showed up for the meeting and refused to leave though he was not invited. He said he had to be there to defend the park. That is a direct violation of the MRL (Mobil Home Residency Law). I am limited as to what I can say here for space reasons but you can see my website that I created to inform the public as to the issues at Valley View Estates. You can go to valleyviewmobile.weebly .com and read my story under Blog and view the nasty notes they hang up at the homes. Their rules also include a section on being nice to management but management is not pleasant or nice to residents if they do not like you. Anything can cause them to not like you. Let this be a caution to anyone considering purchasing a home in Valley View Estates, Santee CA. You can email me with questions if you would like at lifeatvalleyviewestates at gmail.com. I was terribly traumatized living there and need the stories of the residents to get out.
