We drove about 4 hours north to specifically see this car. The salesperson explained that Freeman Lexus had an extremely extensive "multi point inspection process" After purchasing the QX80 the following day I did an inspection on my own. Upon my inspection of the undercarriage of the vehicle I was disappointed and angry to find that the entire undercarriage was covered in rock solid mud even the exhaust was covered in the mud, it looked as if some teenage kid had taken the vehicle through a giant mud hole. We were appalled to discover that this vehicle we purchased from this "Luxury Dealership" had allowed this vehicle to pass through their so called "extensive multi point inspection", which makes us wonder if the vehicle were even inspected at all ? We contacted the dealership and notified the used car sales manager Greg Adair we notified him of what we discovered and how disappointed we were, we also asked how this passed inspection to be sold, Greg could not give a reasonable response, he stated it must have been and oversight. He said that he would speak with his boss and they would talk about options. Approximately one week of not hearing from the dealership I called Greg for an update, they still had no decision about what to do about the situation Greg stated "how about we just send you a gift card for your troubles for $100". I let Greg know that they should do what they think is the right thing to do if they were in our situation. Currently I have approximately 6hours of my own time broken into different days laying under the car with a water hose and a screwdriver to break the mud up and clean the mud from under the car and all of the undercarriage components. I wanted to write update my review of the dealership because I wanted other people to know and understand how our situation was not taken very serious and be careful when buying a car from Freeman Lexus. We have not received the gift card, but if we do we will donated it to charity.
