Epitome of DISHONEST business.
UPDATED: This business would not let me return an item merely because I gave them a 1 star on Yelp. Proof of their dishonesty and my experience is detailed below.
For anyone who need medical equipments, particularly electric scooters for the disabled, I strongly advise you to avoid this business.
I bought an electric wheelchair/scooter for my disabled grandmother at this store. The salesperson sold me a wheelchair that was on display (as a demonstration model). After I came home with the merchandise, it was in fact defective and did not accommodate the grandmother in the way I imagined.
I attempted to return the item in less than 24 hours, and found the salesperson and his manager to be dishonest and disrespectful in every way imaginable. First, the receipt had a handwritten note saying "special order" with a tiny print saying "special orders are non-refundable" (BEWARE this was done purposefully even though the item I purchased was not a special order item and was in fact a used display model). Second, the manager said he would only refund the money with the caveat of a $175 charge for three minor scratches in the front. I argued that those scratches may have come from the item being a display model prior to purchase. After hours of attempting to reconcile, the manager could not print out an honest copy of the manufacturers' quote for scratches or a written policy on "used" or "returnable" items.
I am going to deal with my credit card company instead of these unreasonable and dishonest salespersons. Please do yourselves a favor by purchasing your medical equipment at a store that has honest business policies and treats customers with utmost respect.
DON'T BUY FROM HERE - POOR RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY!! The store only offers a 3-day return/exchange policy. What a joke!!! You might as well say "All Sales Final" Most stores offer at least a 7day return/exchange policy.
This place has everything in medical supplies. I've been in there before and recently went back. I am thankfull for their knowledge and experience to help guide me with my clients.
As an in-home Physical Therapist, I know all the store similar to this one and THIS ONE IS THE WORST. It's a family owned business, which could be goood, but- in this case-sucks because there is no one to complain to. The owner, Don is strange and has ZERO sense of keeping his word re: delivery, price, timing, repairs, etc. All the employees are strange and no one knows what the other is doing. It's smelly, creepy and gross in there. Go anywhere else but here...you'll be glad you did.
