Ox and Son

The atmosphere here is great - love the chairs and table set ups. The music is a bit loud in the evening, but it was good - Radiohead, Alt-J, etc. We had only appetizers, which were in the $12-$18 range, and everything was good - I had the ham and corn cakes, which were awesome. The appetizers are small, so if you aren't that hungry, they can be a meal. The menu is all fresh, local ingredients, and it's a bit on the pricey side - steaks are in the $50 range, entrees are $20+ each.

The only reason I am not giving it a higher rating is the service: our waiter seemed overwhelmed with the number of tables he had, and barely gave us a second glance - no refills on water and no check in after our meals were served. It was disappointing for such an otherwise great place.
