The Pole Garage is a fantastic studio for women looking to learn pole dancing as beginners! They focus on an incredibly thoughtful and well-crafted, progressive-learning curriculum for beginner level dancers, which gives the students the right conditioning and instruction to bring them through to an intermediate to advanced level. The beginner classes are structured so that each week builds on the next, with session classes lasting 6 to 8 weeks per section. Once all beginner and intermediate sessions have been completed, dancers can then move into the open advanced classes and opt for different curriculum, like Pole Work or Transitions and Dance. There are a couple of mixed level classes each week, but most are either the session classes (open only to session students at that level - most classes are exclusive to that group of session students, scheduled for that time) or the advanced classes. Classes begin with a stretching and calisthenic style warm up designed to build conditioning that aids in pole dance (think lunges, stretching of shoulders and legs, ab work out, etc). The teachers take care fo welcome new students and each student is given one-on-one attention through the class. Class size is kept small (fewer than 12 people per class), and there are five 45mm poles available. Parking is accessed through the alley between 19th and 20th streets, accessible from the eastbound side of Olympic. Head to the end of the alley and turn left up the ramp, then park in the small lot at the top - or park at the meters on Olympic and walk up. You can also be buzzed in from the front of the building, on 20th. The studio is intimate, with real hardwood floors and red lighting. It creates a lovely atmosphere. This is a great place if you're not crazy about the insane competitive tricks, and just looking for a solid foundation in pole and a great group of women.

I have dropped in several times with minor problems they have interrupted their work flow and he is willing to take the 20 minutes to deal them and send me one my way, often without charge. Once, because a repair had to be modified, through no fault of Morris Automotive, they were not going to charge me for the parts and labor. When I couldn't him to charge me for the job, I at least got him to let me pay for the part! If I have to leave my car, they provide a driver to take me home. I've used many auto service companies in the past 25 years, and none are more satisfying and fair to deal with. I find the prices fair and the response to my concerns excellent. I have absolute confidence in their workmanship, and I highly recommend Morris Automotive to all who care about their cars, and want to be treated with courtesy, fairness and honesty.
Having my vehicle damaged in a parking lot without any witness, I had to find a location to repair my 2007 Lexus. I live in WLA, Ca., I had gone to the dealers bodyshop, they wanted $1,800.00 and need 5 working days to repair the damage to my bumper and rear quarter panel. I want to Valet Detail Service, they quoted me $800.00 and need 2-3 days. They told me no need to replace the plastic bumper as It could be repaired. I was a little skeptical about leaving it Danny. But being that he has been in business since 1980, and had many exotic and nice cars in his facility I choose to go with him. He need one week to schedule my car. I left the car with him last week, and returned to find my car repaired to my complete satisifaction. The color was perfect and the repair was not noticable. I have complete confidence in his workmanship.

LAYNE GIVES 110% TO THE CARS HE WORKS ON. My son Dakota has a 69 VW Bus and it needed rebuilt engine as well as many other things. Layne was meticulous about discussing every detail with us before doing any of the work or charging us anything. He spent a couple of hours working with Dakota to make sure he knew how to properly maintain the vehicle once it left his shop. His employees are friendly and competent. He cares about every car he works on and all of the owners as well. I feel so blessed to have met him and his lovey lady. The birds and cats that reside their just show you how much he cares. I will bring any VW I own to this awesome mechanic.
I had taken my car to a different garage to get a quote for a brake job on my BMW X5 and found their quote very fair I left my car that night and they called me the next morning and it was done. I was very pleased with the service and professionalism of the staff. This apparently is the place to bring your BMW because while I was there several other people had their BMW's in for a brake job too. I will definitely go back next time I need work on my car. I normally go the Jim Falk of Beverly Hills to get my car serviced. I thought I would try Santa Monica Lexus. What a wonderful treat! George was my service guy, he was so nice and accommodating. He got my car in and out. Washed and pretty again. They're customer lounge was beautiful and inviting. Loved the nice touch of cookies, bagels and cream cheese, coffee, lattes, etc. it was great. I would definitely recommend Santa Monica Lexus service.
