However, Dr. Hamlen has 25 years experience work with animals and is the only practicing board certified veterinarian in veterinary preventive medicine in New Mexico. Backroads Veterinary Care provides quality, affordable veterinary care for farm (cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs) and companion animals (dogs and cats) at the convenience of your home, ranch, or farm.
