Let me tell you all about my experience with this restaurant. My friends and I wanted to try this place out because we have heard their food was the best on campus. We go into the restaurant after waiting for 30 minutes, the waitress takes our order, she was very professional and polite. Everything was going fine just how we had imagine. She handed us a split check tab where we would be able to input our NAMES, THE PAYMENT METHOD, AND THE AMOUNT WE EACH WILL PAY. We filled it out with all the information that was needed, we specified the amount that would be taken from each of our cards, awesome. Unfortunately, our waitress shift had to finish before she could even charge everyones split bill. She was only able to do 1 of the 4 bills from our table because my friend had to leave as well. After she had finished with that 1 bill, she handed our table of 3 to another waitress that would be able to assist the remaining of us until we finished our desserts. So she finishes her shift and my friend who paid left. We continued eating our desserts and when we were about to finish we told the new server we wanted to pay. We handed her the remaining 3 split bill tab along with our cards so she can charge us, but there was a problem with the tables total. Apparently the other waitress did not charge my friend (the one who left) the full amount, her total was 18 something and she was only charged 9. Hmmm, that is weird. We clearly put EVERYONE'S NAME on the spilt tab, along with the total we EACH had to pay, so I don't see why there was a problem. She calls the manger who supposedly would solve the problem, but instead gave us the most. She checks the receipt, and sees that indeed my friend was not charged the full amount (something the waitress should have checked, or reiterated the total to her). So she comes on over after she finished the transactions AND CHARGED THE REMAINING 9 SOMETHING FROM US. I mentioned to her that we all paid our portion of the bill and she went onto saying "well you can get a reimbursement from your friend" like ms. you don't just steal someone's money and say well tell your friend to pay you back. That is certainly not something you want to hear from a MANAGER, YES YOU HEARD CORRECTLY!!! A MANAGER!!! You dont just do something without someone's approval or consent & you certainly don't just go out assuming we will pay for YOUR STAFFS MISTAKES. Your staff did not charge my friend the correct amount & that is a problem from your end not ours. We specified our order and amount on the split tab, so I don't see why it was OUR fault. Hold on there is more!!! After she realized she should have never charged us the remaining amount, the manager then takes our ID's "to give us our money back" I say, I need a receipt of this (because obviously it's super skeptical). She goes outside of the room where we are sitting, takes her time doing I don't know what, comes back to our table with our receipt in one hand and in the other she has a sheet. I don't know, what exactly it was but after she hands us the receipt she says "we did not have to reimburse you all anything." HONESTLY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, I WOULD EXPECT THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR FROM ANYONE BUT A MANAGER??? IT'S TIME FOR THEM TO CHECK THEIR AGENDA, AND LEARN NEW PRINCIPLES AS EMPLOYEES. Even I have had better customer service at the dining hall and these people work longer hours. 2 out of 5 stars just because our waitress were great.
