We require blood work on all pets prior to anesthesia and surgery to ensure that we have all the information necessary to select the appropriate type and amount of anesthesia, or to alert us to any possible complications that may arise do to an existing condition. We have often postponed or even cancelled procedures because of findings on the lab testing.
X-Ray
Pet Wellness care is our primary mission at the Adobe Animal Hospital of Soquel. Early diagnosis of diseases or problems gives us more treatment options for your pets. This is even more true when they become seniors. Routine physical exams and lab testing is especially important for our older patients. We have a state of the art in house lab equipped with digital radiography and ultrasound diagnostics – operated by board certified cardiologists and radiologists. We offer animal acupuncture, physical rehabilitation, and class IV laser therapy for post-surgical recovery and chronic pain conditions.

It is a fact that one of the greatest threats to a pet’s life is getting lost. Ten million pets get lost every year and without identification, 90% of them never return home.
