Still waiting

This place is giving me the run around. I ordered a bunk bed for my daughter's as a Christmas present . Paid Cash On The 29th Of November, was promised the beds within the week... IM STILL WAITING. NOW THEY ARE GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND. So no what was supposed to be a early Christmas present might not even get to them by Christmas. VERY DISSAPPOINTED




I'm an AVID researcher. I conduct loads of research before any purchase. I don't rely solely on Yelp/online reviews because they are so easily skewed. I should have headed the low star ratings this time. ;/

Yes, the prices at Simply are good. The customer service (while IN the store) is great. The salesmen aren't pushy and awkward. Jerry was knowledgeable and helped me find EXACTLY what I wanted. Honest and straight forward.

HOWEVER, if you get a defective product..... You're on your own. My sectional arrived defective. A large metal piece hit the ground every time you sat down. I have hard wood floors and it sounded like you were going through the floor! Less than ideal. I notified Simply immediately. Like within 12 hours. It was a holiday weekend so I understood when they didn't call me back.

I called again twice and emailed. When I finally got someone to speak with me, she informed me because I picked up the couch myself....they wouldn't come get it. I needed to PAY to return it to the manufacturer. Seriously? So...they deliver a subpar, "clanky couch" and I had to pay $99 to return it to them.

I was stuck. It's written in their contract in super fine print. bad. I played their game, PAID to have it returned for them to fix. I needed the couch and didn't want to argue.

Three months later....the same metal piece dangles down. They fixed nothing.

Yes, I got a great "deal". For a couch that sounds like your falling to your death upon sitting.


Pay and extra few hundred bucks and go somewhere else. It's not worth the effort.

I suggest a re-name..... " Simply Hassle Furniture".




My wife and I came in here to get a living room set and had a really good experience. They had a huge selection and their prices are great.




EVERYONE!!!!...DO NOT SHOP AT SIMPLY DISCOUNT FURNITURE!!!!!!!! The management is HORRIBLE! They sold me a couch, and within 3 days later told me they no longer wished to honor the deal we made! The president of this companys name is DON GARRISON. If the amount the deal was made wasn't so small, we'd be in small claims court rite now! THEY ARE TERRIBLE BUSINESS PEOPLE. Yes the prices are good, but you never know when they are going to find a way to screw you over! read some of the reviews, they are shady business people.....FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BOYCOTT THIS COMPANY!!! THEIR SCAM ARTISTS!



Worth a visit

I researched this site(and a lot of furniture stores still around)and had seen one negative review,but,decided to go to the store anyway and see what they had.I was blown away by the assortment and was in the store for over 1 hour just looking around.My salesman was very attentive but not too pushy,and answered all my questions.

My wife and I bought a bedroom set,a couch,a loveseat,a coffee tabel,with the 2 end tables.The stuff was delivered in about 2 weeks(not the 4 weeks the manager said).And the stuff arrived without a scratch.The delivery people were good,knowledgeable,and courteous,and set everything up real nice without any problems.I had not a single problem with the entire process.Now we need a dining room set we didn't get originally.Going back this weekend .I highly recommend this store.




They have a large selection with a mixed-bag of "qualified" salesmen. Make sure you ask for someone who knows their products if the salesperson you get is "fumbling" around like ours was, it will save you some time.

Promises...the product we ordered was not on the floor. If you purchase something at the warehouse (right there in the store) be prepared for next day delivery. We purchased something from the manufacturer and were told 4 weeks to delivery allow 6 just to to be safe. Here it is 8 weeks later and we have not received our product. It's the manufacturer not them we're told. Thankfully, to ease our discomfort and impatience we were sent a loaner while we wait. This is exemplary customer service in my opinion. We really appreciate being loaned furniture while we wait. The prices are great. You're not getting Ethan Allen or Thomasville, but they have a huge selection and some really nice stuff. The quality is decent enough. We expect if "the manufacturer" didn't mess up again, we'll have our furniture by the time 10 weeks passes.
