Real Estate Transactions
January 1, 2023: Price, Postel & Parma is pleased to announce that Cameron Goodman has become a partner of the firm. Mr. Goodman’s practice focuses on all aspects of business, real estate, land use and environmental matters, representing individuals, families, businesses, nonprofits and public agencies. He counsels his clients in forming and operating legal entities, negotiating and structuring real estate transactions, and navigating complex land use entitlement and environmental compliance matters. Mr. Goodman lives in Santa Barbara with his wife and two young children.
Land Use and Zoning
Before joining Price Postel & Parma, Mr. Frankel served for two years as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Ted C. Tow III at the Colorado Court of Appeals. He then served an additional one-year term for the Honorable M. Terry Fox. As an appellate law clerk, Mr. Frankel drafted over sixty full length opinions resolving civil, criminal, and administrative appeals. In the civil context, he frequently addressed issues involving state permitting decisions, real estate and land use, commercial contract disputes, corporate liability, and federal and state constitutional claims.

Jeremy D. Stone has joined Price, Postel & Parma as an associate attorney. Mr. Stone’s practice focuses on public agency, environmental, education, and employment law. He has advised clients regarding a variety of real property, land use, employment, tax, financing, public agency, contracting, and landlord-tenant laws. Mr. Stone supports the firm’s education law practice by providing general counsel services to public employees, school districts, and county offices of education. He also has a broad litigation practice. He has practiced civil litigation from pre-litigation consultation to resolution, including discovery, law and motion, mediation, and trial. Having served in the Office of Chief Counsel for the State Water Resources Control Board, in-house for a real estate development company, and as a law clerk in the office of the California Attorney General, Mr. Stone is uniquely qualified to represent both public and private entities. Prior to joining Price, Postel & Parma, Mr. Stone was a litigation associate with an insurance defense firm, where he litigated environmental, employment, and personal injury matters.

Estate Planning
Doug went to Amherst College where, in 1976, he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Economics. While at Amherst, he played on the varsity basketball team and was president and treasurer of the Delta Upsilon fraternity. Doug went on to the University of Southern California Law School where he was on the Southern California Law Review. In 1979, shortly after he graduated, he began his career at Price, Postel & Parma. He was first a law clerk, then an associate attorney, then partner. At the time of his death, Doug was the senior partner at the one hundred and seventy-year-old firm and chaired its Estate Planning Department.
