After my experience with their service department today, I highly recommend David Maus Chevrolet . On first call, I was made to feel as if I was their only customer. They answered promptly and were very professional. I spoke to a customer care professional by the name of Ty. He was on the ball. He took my basic information and assisted me with directions to their facility. Upon arrival, I was greeted quickly. It was nice to be able to ask for someone by name. It alleviated the unnecessary explaining and re-explaining of the issue to multiple service personnel. The waiting room was very clean and inviting. There was complimentary refreshments, big screen LCD televisions, and very comfortable chairs that afforded even a bigger person like myself enough room to sit and not feel crowded in. I have had my oil changed at Napleton twice. The first time it was done quickly and at a fair price. the second time it cost me $25 more. When I asked why I was told there is a "Shop Fee". When I asked what the shop fee was for I was told it was so they could dispose of any rags they used in changing my oil. Are they charging people so they can throw away paper towels? I could not get any good answers as to what the extra charges were for. I have bought two cars from this dealership and had wonderful service up until now. As a part of the deal for the second car I was told they would throw in a tee shirt I saw at the dealership that I liked. They did not have the shirt in my size and told me I would get it as soon as one came in. Not in yet. It is becoming clear to me that as soon as the people at this dealership have your money they no longer care about their customers. I will no longer use their services. There are many good dealerships and mechanics out there. Do not go to Napleton.
I bought my 2016 Subaru Outback in December 2015. Because I had 2 horrendous experiences with Space Coast Honda (lying, deceitful employees) I was not looking forward to buying another car. As it turned out, I am ecstatic that this whole process was straightforward. The internet price was exactly the same as the sales contract. No hidden charges, no paper shell game. I've been back to the service department for my first oil change service and again, no drama. The check in process was efficient and the car was ready when promised. It's a shame I can't get this same level of service closer to home, but it's worth the drive to do business with an honest dealership.
Tom was awesome to work with. I contacted several other dealerships and Tom was the best to work with. Didn't play games like the other salesmen and gave me everything I was looking for. I hate the whole car buying process and Tom made it enjoyable.
