I recently repowered my 20yr old Action Craft flats boat with a new Yahama 90 SHO. Justin made the experience as well as the end result a extremely pleasant transaction. All of my expectations were exceeded as Eddie ensured the installation was done professionally. Communication was key and I was kept informed during the installation even when there were delays. The new motor is truly exceptional. Performance and fuel consumption are far more than originally anticipated.
Capt Phil, Justin and Eddie are a top notch team. I have expectations when dealing with a business, as I look for integrity, courteousness, professionalism and customer focus. At Rothrock Marine I found each of these characteristics. I can't speak highly enough about each of these men and my experience with the repowering of my boat.
If you are looking for a new Action Craft boat or to repower your current boat I would highly recommend going to Rothrock Marine in Sanford.

I took my boat to them a week ago. I knew EXACTLY what was wrong with it before it went to them. There was no compression on one cylinder in the port motor which is a pretty big job. I told the tech all of this on the phone prior to taking the boat to them to ensure they had the capability of making such a big repair. I was ASSURED multiple times that this shop was capable to making a sizable repair to the Yamaha F300 V8 (certified Yamaha, do it all the time, blah, blah blah) and would be able to get on it immediately. 2 days later I call to get an update and they still had not got to it. After 3 days i was assured they would get on it TOMORROW. Weekend passes and almost an entire week goes by and they call me to tell me that they DO NOT HAVE THE TOOLS OR EQUIPMENT to fix the boat and that the owner doesn't want to pay for $1000.00 in tools needed to do the job and that i should probably take it somewhere else. The best part was that they repeated verbatim to me what i told them was the problem originally and that it took them 8 HOURS to diagnose......what a joke !!!!!!They tried to get me to pay $250.00 considering it a FAVOR to the 8 hours that they put into it. After venting my frustration to the owner he agreed to waive the bill entirely.

Took the boat to BOATERS EXCHANGE over in Rockledge. Its a bit of a haul from Sanford but those guys are PROFESSIONAL. They had done some work for me in the past and i should have taken it back to them but Rothrock was close and convenient and i thought someone listed on Yamaha's own website would be OK. Boy was i wrong.....BEWARE!!!!!

I am a 71 year old retiree . Several months ago I purchased a new Sundance SV 211 bay boat from Rothrock Marine ,Sanford.. The trade-in allowance for boat was very fair and my new boat was delivered equipped as agreed at the price quoted. The service has been excellent . Please look elsewhere for a us...

Please look elsewhere for a used boat (no warranty). I bought a smaller boat from him about 2 years ago. He seemed to be on my side, said all the right things, but not when it came to making things right. I NEVER had a successful trip on this boat. The motor died everytime, stranding me more than once. We had to be towed in several times. The first couple of times, he did take it and said his mechanic fixed it (he did do this at no cost to me, which is why 2 stars, not just 1), but it kept happening again and again. It never worked correctly. He never offered my money back, or to trade for a working boat. In the end I had to trade it in elsewhere at a significant loss (50%). This was after only having it for 6 months.
