They would not let me use my VALID coupon on 9/24... Customer service is so rude! I do admit the store was ready to close and they wanted to leave about 8:50. I went for the first time ever because I had an online coupon after signing up for their deals. They said on the coupon to show your $5.00 off of a $10.00 purchase coupon and they can scan it from your phone. The cashier argued with me that it was only valid on 9/20 and shut out of it on my phone. I had to re open it to show her that it said valid 9/20 through Thursday 9/27. She said ok and scanned it. It did not scan properly so then she shut out of it and scanned it again. She kept repeating it and then it said sorry the coupon is no longer valid due to viewing the coupon too much. Then almost all of the lights shut off in the store which was rude...because they were closing...I could barely see... The cashier brought a manager over. I explained to the manager that it was a proper coupon and the cashier had even seen it. The manager Karen said that she would not give me the discount at all. She said she she didn't even know about the coupon at all. It came from Michaels. Wouldn't a manager know about this???? I said what do you want me to do leave all of these things here (I had quite a bit of things) she said yes! I guess she did not want my business. I apologized to all of the people waiting in line behind me and they said that they would have walked out too if it were them and I left. They saw how I was treated. It was my first and last experience at Michaels.
