I reserved a small vehicle and when I went to pick it up, and did the walk through with the agent, I noticed that It had a very powerful smell of marijuana. When I told the agent she told me it was probably just the air freshener, so I didn't think twice. I went straight to my moms home and did not use the vehicle again until the next day to pick up my sister and her newborn from the Orlando airport. Again I smell the marijuana. When I picked up my sister and opened the door of the car to put the car seat in she automatically said, the car reeked of marijuana and refused to get in with her child, calling a taxi, who charged her almost $60 to get home. I immediately called enterprise and spoke with a guy named carols who told me to bring the car back. I got it back the next day and he put me in another vehicle. The rep that put me in the new vehicle even said yes it does smell like marijuana. We also noticed empty soda and potato chip bags under the back seat, which means no one bothered to clean or inspect that vehicle when the previous customer bought it back. I was told when I got the new vehicle a $127 credit but looking at my statement that credit never was taken off. I am so upset with the way my problem was handled. I am calling corporate and demanding a refund if the amount of $127 credit is not given, or even the reimbursement for the taxi my sister had to take with her newborn.

This was a great service. I got the reservations as a part of my flight arrangements with Allegiant Air. The rate was great as I have tried local companies (Fox Car Rental) which turned out to be a ripoff. Alamo was ready at my arrival. A quick review of the contract at the counter and off to choose which car I wanted from a selection of cars that were filled and ready to go. The return was unbelievable. I pulled up in the parking space and the attendant gave me my receipt. No hassle, no fuss and no muss. This was one of the best experiences I've had with rental cars. One thing is a problem, Their location in the airport is a long walk from the terminal at the Sanford, Fla. airport.
While the car was perfect for us, the costs was outrageous. We traveled with friends. Each family rented a car. We had a 1 level upgrade from our friends. However they were low on the amount of cars available for purchase friends ds so while they were picking out their car they were instructed to pick any of the full size (our level) free of charge. However my bill was $311 and theirs was $209. Not fair. We checked in and returned our cars at the exact same times.
Staff was friendly, but it really didn't make up for the fact that the car was absolutely disgusting. Stains were rampant on the seats and carpet, while the putrid odor of spoiled milk wafted through the automobile. If you think that a filthy car paired with the stench of lumpy milk would be a great experience, then this would be the place to rent from.
There are other Enterprise rental center closer to me, but the overall customer satisfaction and service that I get here, is second to none. I have been an Enterprise customer for years, and have been coming to this location since 2013. Being in sales you come to understand that service is everything and the Rinehart Rd. location in Sanford ROCKS !!!!!!
We have used the Enterprise on Rinehart in Lake Mary, Florida on numerous occasions and never been disappointed. Our recent rental was no exception. Rented a mid-sized SUV and picked up a Jeep Grand Cherokee with only 200 miles on it! Yay, me! And "Yay, Enterprise!" The staff there is helpful, friendly and efficient. Thanks!
Our flight was delayed and didn't arrive until 4 hours after scheduled. The staff was very understanding and upgraded us to a larger SUV at no charge! The SUV was brand new, it only had 8 miles on it! The staff was ver friendly, I would recommend Enterprise to anyone. We will certainly be using them again in the future!
Chrysler Town & Country was very clean and smelled good with almost 19000 miles. Staff was friendly and when I told them it was not completely full of gas they gave me a discount. I have use Enterprise for years and never had an issue.
Alamo at Sanford Airport is the ONLY place we will rent vehicles. Tried all the others. Alamo is ethical, hassle free, awesome customer service, and always a great selection of vehicles. They really care about their customers!!
The service was fine. My only problem is that when I picked the car up I was given a price of $106. When I brought the car back it was all of a sudden $208 and with zero explanation as to why.
