Dear Friends With Bad Experiences, I can fully relate, I mean this 110%! I wish I could give a wonderul review, however, my experience would border or be very close to Angela H's...
I bought a wonderful notebook/laptop from them, geek squad special package and such, and was ultra happy with my choice of a brillian HP Pavillion Notebook! However, after about three months give or take a few days or so??? I ended up after turning my HP Notebook, seeing that my screen had (was due) had to be repaire or such which sucked big tim!
The waiting on my Notebook alone, was abhorrently seeming forever long, after their two week estimate, I ended up waiting 3 weeks or longer! Aslo, most of the local employees (all of them), couldn't answer my inquiries about my "repair going along on my HP Nor were they helpful, asde from a few who were excellent employees and more than helpful...
Overall, my reason for the one star review of Best Buy, is because they quite frankly hire, banefully lacking sales skills and a majoritry or their employees in the "customer sales area" are horrible when it comes to customr relations, which in Customer Service Jobs, you are to treat them as though they were distinguished, wonderful guests and the customer is always right (they have severe prblems and skills lacking horribly bad here...
It took them a better part of three weeks, due to their incompitence, rudeness, Unhelpfullness ( big and huge problems here)! In future dealings for electronis, computers, devices and such, I'll go directrly to the source as you have more options and can dustom order you computer exactly to your specs! Best of luck to all, who strumble across here, if you go to "Best Buy" then I sincerely wish you a wonderful experience, but definitely be leery here... All Take Care, O'Reily
