TERRIBLE!!! If I could rate 0 stars I would. Not for Costco it's self, just the phone kiosk they have there. The guys name was Gregory and his boss Evan. Kiosk 487. First off Gregory acts like he hates his job & dosent even want to be there. I mean he is getting paid he should atleast act happy or like he wants to help???? Never have I had worse customer service in my life. Second off I stood there for about an hour going over a phone to get, I finally decided to get it, signed the contract logged into my phone provider account EVEN WENT TO PAY FOR IT!!!! Come back signed some more contracts just as I was ready to go they told me that they would walk me back over to the return area of Costco because apparently they didn't check there inventory before selling me the phone?!? You have one job Greg do it right. So needless to say I drove 45min stood at the kiosk for an hour even purchased the phone just to have Greg & his boss tell him they will walk me over to the return area??? For one they were not nice about it making me feel dumb as if it was my fault they didn't check there inventory? So thank you very much Greg and Evan for wasting my time & money!! Costco you guys should hire some employees that actually know how to do the job right so customers like me don't have to drive wait and pay for an experience like this.
I just had the privilege of experiencing an escort to the pharmacy at the Sandy, UT Costco. I don't have a card, but I've been getting my prescriptions filled there for over 5 years. I just go in, show them my prescription paper, and they don't bother me.But, for some reason, the management has decided that I'm a risk, or unwelcome or something. I went to Costco this week, and a very solid-looking lady stopped me at the door and wouldn't let me go to the pharmacy without an escort. I asked why, and they said they didn't want me 'wandering freely around the store'. I told her I had no interest in wandering freely around her store. I just needed my pills. She was unmoved by my pleas to just let me go inside. I had to stand at the front, next to the greeter/bouncer for 15 minutes before a nice man came and got me.I've never been felt so angry and insulted by a company before. I did my best to not abuse the nice young man, and I dropped off my prescription at the pharmacy. I walked over to the offices, and spent the next 20 minutes expressing my feelings to a supervisor and a manager, both of whom were nice-ish. Basically, the way I understand their explanation is this: I'm not a member, so they can be d-bags to me, and I deserve it. If I want them to stop being d-bags, I should become a member. So, it's a new advertising campaign of some kind. I explained that it wasn't working on me. They were sorry I felt that way. I went back to the pharmacy to pick up my pills; then I wandered freely about the store and got 3 of each sample. That made me feel a little better.Part of me never wants to experience the pharmacy escort again, but part of me thinks they're just trying to make it harder for me to get their cheaper meds without a membership. So now I have to go there for everything and waste their escorts' time and eat all their samples.Thanks for letting me express my feelings to you, Internet.
