Horrible customer service. Permanent residents do not like overnighters so they harass them. Very dirty, unkept landscaping, run down and little shacks for office and a closet size store, literally the size of a closet. Somewhat connected to a trailer park. Very disappointing that it is regarded as a KOA. Right along a busy road so if you are not careful you will have a site or rental with lights shining in your window from advertisement business signs. Horrible, horrible horrible place, would not recommend. To anyone. The photos make it look nice, don't be fooled.
Cleanest camping restrooms ever, outstanding customer service. They have activities set up for people of all ages
We were worried before we even checked in. We noticed the trailer park and the shady apartments adjacent to the campground. Bars on the windows didn't exactly make us feel safe. We walked into our park model and realized we should have packed cleaning supplies. Trying to make the best of it we sent the sits to the jumping pillow only to have them return after other kids threw clumps of dirt at them. To top it all off, we were jolted awake by trains throughout the night. If you want to relive the days of waking up every hour with your newborn, stay here. If you want to sleep, I recommend staying elsewhere.
It was really nice. We stayed in a cabin
Loved it here at Camp Sandusky. We are looking forward to another stay at the end of August. The staff is friendly and helpful. Awesome pancake breakfast, two pools, one heated, a playground and a bunny exhibit. Clean bathrooms and showers with hot water. The price is affordable. We love staying in their cabins.
We have always camped at Bayshore Estates for many years. Their service and sites are really nice. This last time we went, it was during the week and we got to pick our own campsite! The bathrooms are always clean, the grounds kept nice and the staff always friendly. The only thing I would change is the pool hours, as sometimes we get back late from Cedar Point and would love an evening swim...other than that...awesome!
I recommend you NOT stay here. First of all, I requested a camp site. I was assuming that we would have at least a little privacy. No, there were people crammed in tiny area's. Secondly, we had a sight on 2 roads that had constant traffic and headlights bothering us all evening. Next, they failed to tell us that we were nearly surrounded by huge RV's. Those things are very noisy if you are trying to sleep and these things are coming and going. Next, they have no rules about noise so I was listening to bikers come and go all night (on top of the cars and RV's) which drove about 5 feet away from my tent.I chose this place because they made it seem like a real camp site when in actuality, it is a field with some trees. I would have rather spent my money on a hotel. I spent all day at Cedar Point and when the park closed, all I wanted was to sit by the fire for a little bit and go to sleep. I actually only got 2 hours of sleep due to all the above.DO NOT STAY HERE. IT IS A RIP OFF! GO FIND AN ACTUAL CAMP SITE INSTEAD OF THIS RV PARK.
