County of Marin has a population of more than 300,000 people and is located in San Rafael, Calif. A five-member board of supervisors serves as the legislative and executive body of Marin County, Calif. The county offers a wide range of public welfare services, including transportation, tax collection, adult abuse reporting, animal control, building inspection, community planning, fire prevention, law enforcement and wastewater management.
