Tow truck driver recommended this place. Seems nice at first. First sign of problem? Asking me to sign a blank estimate. 2nd. never fully giving me the cost. I asked, per the tow truck driver's suggestion, if they knew how to work on VW's he said yes. They do not. It is not about reading the codes. When I brought the car in, I said it was overheating when you tried to drive it. Idled fine. he replaced the O2 sensor, not the water pump, well, yes he did after he did many other things. mean while I researched my car's issues on the internet and it is a known issue! Impeller breaks. Found out my timing belt is, or was, only 1 year old (went to the dealer I bought my car from last year). Lesson learned, bank account empty. Oh, and last warning--he only wants cash. After I refused, he said okay he could take a credit card, this made me feel even more apprehensive as to the quality of his work and ethics. Have advised AAA and tow company. Still searching for good VW mechanic, as I now want tot have my car inspected to make sure the work he did do is correct.
