Nursery School Philosophy The Merry-Go-Around Nursery School in San Pedro values a philosophy of child development that recognizes and respects the uniqueness of child's growth patterns and cognitive, social, emotional and physical needs and to resepect the diversity around them. The Merry-Go-Around Nursery School in San Pedro incorporates into its curriculum, the experiences of different cultures. Above all, the Merry-Go-Round Nursery School is committed to providing an environment for children that fosters self-esteem and pride in one's achievements and provides opportunities for parents to feel this same pride. Center Hours: The nursery school is open from 6:30AM to 6:00PM. An additional charge of $1.00 for every minute that your child remains at school past 6:00PM. Payable to the teacher on duty when the child is picked up. Holiday: The school is open year round, except on the following legal holiday: New Years Day Dr. Martin Luther King Day President's Day Ceasar Chavez Memorial Day 4th of July and Day After Last Thursday & Friday of August Labor Day and Day After Veteran's Day Thanksgiving Day and Day After Christmas Eve Day (1/2 Day) Christmas Day and Day After No reduction in tuition is made for these days sinceour teachers receive a paid holiday the same as is customary in other businesses. Unlike other early learning programs, our core philosophy truly celebrates the individual potential of each child. Two (2) Children - 10% Discount for 2nd Child (Both full time students, 5 days) Return Checks - $25.00 Service Charge (no exceptions) TUITION IS PAYABLE IN ADVANCE A $10.00 LATE FEE WILL ADDED, IF NOT PAID ON MONDAY
