Shopping for furniture once every 20 years is way too much for my husband. That’s why North Carolina furniture direct is now my favorite place to go. My husbands #1 dislike is the pushy, hovering salesman. However, We were greeted by Robert, the nicest furniture salesman ever. I told him exactly what we were looking for and the lowest price possible. Robert took us to 4 options that we narrowed down to two. He gave us space and time to discuss this “monumental” decision and in a short time, I was happily on my way home with a very happy hubby. We even stopped at Los Cucos for a celebratory drink. Thanks Robert.

Very helpful staff and met all the needs and wishes we had on purchasing new furniture. Needed different fabrics and different options on showroom furniture, being patient with our selection and hospitable to our comforts. Corey did a great job and worked really hard to meet our needs. All the sales people were polite and helpful. There was no arm twisting or attempts to up sell. We ordered a recliner. They gave us a fairly long delivery time which is fine if they meet it.

We came in the store for the first time and had the most wonderful experience. Our salesperson was helpful, kind and did everything he could to help us get a good deal. He knew all the products and all the details...very knowledgeable! We bought a double recliner and we love it. We will definitely be repeat customers.

North Carolina has always had competitive prices for quality furniture. We like the fact that are selling American Manufactured products with hardwoods.
The people are very knowledgeable and not pushy. They are patient and always willing to answer all questions.

Two weeks ago I started a search for a recliner and I was fortunate enough to get Karen's help in exploring the store for the recliners that met my criteria. She was incredibly knowledgeable and NOT high pressure--the perfect salesperson in my book. She also saved me tons of time since she knew which items met my criteria without having to look at labels.

I intended to spend more time researching, but due to a back injury, I returned to the store after only a week with a pressing need for a recliner. Unfortunately, Karen was on vacation to visit her grandchildren, but when I told Pedro my situation, he let me spend hours testing the recliners to see which one was most comfortable in my situation. Not only that, when I found the right one, he negotiated a wonderful deal for me and made sure I got that recliner in my home that very same night (I had come in to the store in LATE afternoon!). I got the best night of sleep I'd had in three days because of the efforts of these good folks.

I cannot say enough to praise the excellent service I received at North Carolina Furniture Direct. They'll be seeing me and my friends and family again soon.

Me and my husband went shopping for a new bedroom furniture set and we had shopped around other furniture stores and this store is by far the best place to buy great quality furniture. Our sales guy was awesome and was very knowledgeable of what the furniture was made out of and where it was from. Me and my husband are so glad we bought our furniture from North Caroling furniture direct!

We went in to look at tables for our formal dinning room. Robert and Richard were both awesome. We bought not only the table for our formal but another for our breakfast area. And a new mattress. Thank you for everything! You guys were really great.

Twee helped us find an entertainment set for our living room! She was so much help and so friendly. We will definitely be returning to North Carolina to purchase more furniture in the future!

We are a repeat customer with our first couch & loveseat giving us many many years of great service and wearability. After visiting a competitor much closer to where we live, we set out to NC furniture in San Marcos. We found the set that would suitably replace our first purchase from NCF. Price was a little more than expected but they worked with us to accommodate our terms and we sealed the deal. Salesman Larry H. was very helpful in our selection and went to bat for us to close the deal. I would recommend checking these guys out before making a big furniture purchase.

We met Twee, the floor sales lady who directed us to the sofas we were looking for and we made the purchase. Twee was friendly, professional and gracious throughout the sales process. This was our second sales venture with North Carolina and a superb furniture store!!!

Went in on a Saturday morning. Was greeted right way but not pressured in any way. Chris, the salesman who greeted us, checked on us throughout our visit and was very helpful. i would say that Chris went out of his way to make sure we found just the right selections. Great service!

Aug 7, 2016 purchased sofa and leather chair. When delivery was made I noticed a torn spot on the back. I waited until the next day (Monday 8th) and called to report it. I ask them to pick it up and return after repair was made but was told by Becca Marez to let her contact the company and they would probably repair it. After many text and calls I still do not have an answer. I called the Mayo Company directly and they seem to know nothing of my problem. They contacted the store to call me and still nothing. I feel I getting one lie after another. I will add to my review if I receive any satisfaction.

Bottom line, avoid this place. I do love my furniture, but that has NOTHING to do with this store. BTW, they’re overpriced by about 70%. Do your research.



This place is a nightmare in which I've typed up too much to appear on this site. Check out my review (Rich O) on Google or Yelp or CitySearch. All details are there. This place is horrible.

My fiancé and I went in there looking for a bedroom set. Found one we loved and made our offer, which was accepted. We paid full amount in cash and even drove it home ourselves. No delivery. We opened the first piece which was the chest of drawers and notice the corners and edges were bent and scuffed. The screws were stripped and we were unable to screw the nobs in properly. After noticing one mark after the other we called our salesmen (this is all within the same day). We told him we were disappointed in the condition of our furniture. He acted like we were a huge burden, his tone was ugly and told us to bring it back. At that time I got on the phone and sternly, but very respectively told him how this really wasn't convenient for us, especially when we had already driven from New Braunfels to San Marcos and back, paid $2k in cash, and delivered and unloaded these heavy pieces ourselves to just load it back up. He said he would get with service to send someone out and call us back. 2 days later I had to call back as I had not heard from him or anyone there. They said they'd send men out between specific times I had requested. Becca even said she'd call before sending them out. WELL, she didn't call, nor did they come at the times I requested. So we rescheduled again. Same thing happened. TWICE. BY the THIRD time the delivery people finally came looked at the dress and said it would be replaced. While both the repairman and delivery boys were nice. I was NOT pleased with the service we received from our salesman or the service lady. While she was nice, she never followed through like she said. While I do love our furniture, I most likely will not buy from them again. And if I do, I will demand to look at my set before it’s loaded up in my truck next time. I suggest the same.

Huge building with all kinds of furniture, was a bit overwhelmed by all the options. Prices seemed reasonable.

Bought a new living room set, had no problems at all... High quality, fast delivery, and helpful staff. Love the set, glad I went.

A smooth and hassle-free experience. I was in need of some couches after my old roommate moved out and was looking to upgrade from roadside fare. I tried a few other places, but their prices were kind of out of my range. I saw NCFD off the highway and thought I'd give them a try; turns out to be a good idea as I found a really good deal there. Most importantly, the purchase was smooth and easy and I found what I needed pretty quickly. I'd definitely recommend you give them a try if you're looking for furniture in the area.
