When there for dinner with some friends. As we were leaving we saw a RAT run out from under one of the tables. Won't be going there anymore!
We eat out a lot and have tried practically everything in San Marcos - this is BY FAR the best Chinese restaurant in town. Like I said, we eat here quite frequently and have never had a complaint. Our favorites are the Double Treasure, Chicken in Garlic Sauce and Chicken Chop Suey. It's deliciou…
The food here is pretty tasty. On Sunday only, there is a buffet all day. The selection is not that large, but it does have all the basics General Tso, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Pepper Steak, Lo Mein, Fried Rice, Shrimp Toast, Watermelon, you get the idea. $7.
They have really good customer service, but be careful to go thier on sunday afternoons cause it gets really full. I eat thier for lunch casue they also have carry out and loads of other stuff go and check it out for yourself
This has got to be one of the worst restaurants in the entire Hill Country. Food is greasy and tasteless as if it has been hanging around the kitchen for days. I'm amazed it stays in business.
I ordered from them only to find out that they charge a $6 delivery fee and that they have a $20 minimum to deliver. For this, the food should be phenomenal but its just average. Will never order there again!! Disappointed in Buda.
I walked into this restaurant for lunch this afternoon. When I arrived, there was nobody at the counter/entrance to sit the customers. After more than 5 minutes of standing, I finally decided to just pick a table. A server came out of the kitchen after 10 minutes and when I signaled her to ta…
21. Garden Buffet
These people put sugar in all the chicken dishes, except fried chicken. When I asked, was told that "all Americans want sugar." Not trur! This ruins what otherwise might be good dishes. Mongolian stir fry is excellent/ Sushi is excellent, also. Other than the sugar business, this place…
Must be between cooks food was terrible! Pork egg fu young was raw, rice was not done, sweet and sour pork was tough, orange chicken soggy! The only food that was good were the egg rolls and roast pork lo mein. Very rude people
Love this place. They have great food at reasonable prices. The wait staff is friendly and accommodating.
BEWARE LADIES!!!! My daughter who attends TXST ordered take out this past Sunday evening. The delivery guy complimented her nails and nail color, as she signed the receipt he bent over touched her feet, toes and legs inappropriately. She was caught off guard and was not sure what to do except run back into her dorm building and call home. Her boyfriend called and complained to the manager, John and he did nothing about it. A few hours later when her father found out, he called to speak with the Manager as well. 1st Megan came to the phone then she passed the call to John. John said "I know her boyfriend already called". When my husband asked what was going to be done about this and he wants to speak with the driver, John said the delivery guy was out delivering. So Management knew about this complaint and still did nothing and sent the driver out to deliver. Be careful with the wierdo freaks this establishment hires.
I will say a great combination of awesome food, and amazing service

HAIR IN FOOD!!! Absolutely disgusting....... Sat down to eat with my brother and found hair in the food! I had taken maybe two bites when he found the hair! Then we tell the waiter who claims it came out of a brush??!! Like that makes us feel any better. So he said he would cancel my brothers plate and we would have to pay full price for the plate I took two bites out of. I said I was not going to eat there that it was disgusting and they said that BECAUSE IT IS AN OPEN AREA WHERE THE FOOD IS WHEN YOU EAT THERE YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE FACT THAT THERE MAY BE HAIR IN THE FOOD!! SERIOUSLY!!!! NEVER AGAIN. This from the manager on duty and waiter and then we asked for the owners phone number and they said we had to keep calling to catch her while she was there and they would not give a number!
Excellent Chinese food, prices are semi high
