Apartment With All Bills Paid in San Marcos, TX

Mr.Charles Phillipot always responds back in a timely manner and is amazing at his job. If your looking for property to rent in the Austin, Temple, and San Marcos area I would highly recommend going through him. He's very professional and knows his job.

We applied here and were unfortunately denied on basis of credit. We spoke to a leasing agent prior to applying because we already knew we had credit issues and were told "we will work with you if that is the case, and you might need to pay a higher deposit". Upon receiving the denial via email, I called to see what we could do, per the previous leasing agents. The assistant property manager, Anthony, wanted nothing to do with us and refused to talk with us about any kind of other options. We were denied, point blank. We requested our initial fees back, as per the application fine print, we are entitled to our fees back if we are denied. To add insult to injury, we received a check for $49, even though we paid $150 in fees. I emailed Anthony regarding this discrepancy, and despite the fact that the fine print clearly reads that we are owed these fees, he is refusing to refund the remainder. At this point, this is not about the money. It's about the fact that 1. we knew we were going to have credit issues and we were flat out lied to by their sales team when they said "we can work with you", and 2. the assistant manager is fighting with me over something that is very clearly worded on the applications' terms. It's astounding that such a "nice complex" would drag people through the mud like this over $100. So again, don't bother applying. They are not willing to work with anyone and will give you a hard time for the entirety of the process. If this is how they treat their applicants, I can't imagine how poorly they must treat their tenants!

Karen Klecka has been amazing and so helpful in locating an apartment for us in San Marcos. She spends a great deal of time to understand what is needed and to make sure you are happy. I've never had anyone so personable that was so sincere. She provides the best customer service ever! You can't go wrong! Apartment Experts will make sure you have a safe and nice place to live.

We have reached out to them twice and Katherine Barrhas been extreamly helpful on helping us find our first apartment in a times crunch and now our upgrad. She's fantastic and really sweet.Don't do this on your own reach out to an expert, but not just any expert, reach out to APARTMENT EXPERTS.I'm really ecstatic about our upgrade and fantastic price.

Please do yourself a favor and AVOID this place. They add fraudulent charges to your bill then keep adding "late fees" when you dispute the outrageous charges. They keep threatening to "take you to collections." Even when you finally move out they try to keep threatening you with "cleaning fees" of $1,000. Stay far away!

I do not recommend this complex. Although affordable, there are issues with theft, traffic, management, noise, cleanliness, building integrity...the list goes on.

The employees are useless and don't ever know what's going on. Their management is a complete JOKE. The maintenance crew must only work once a month for how long it takes for things to be fixed. We've had something major break about once a month. This month, our AC is leaking and raining into our downstairs, last month our hot water was broken for over a week. Before that our electricity would randomly shut off at least 5 times a day for over two months before the came and fixed it.

They are very unmoral people. They say and promise so much. Once you sign they screw you with unjust charges and poor attitudes. Stay away from this place.

I moved here a little over a week ago and I absolutely love it. The office staff is very friendly and helpful and the over all quality of the apartment can't be beat. The amenities are great and are very well kept which is very important to me. The parking is also awesome because I always have multiple spots in front of my apartment at all times. I am also an apartment locator in San Marcos so I know of every single option that San Marcos has to offer and out of them all I picked this place for my wife and I to live for the next couple years.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Absolutely horrible experience. Leasing agent made it sound like a great place, very nice. But I moved into a dirty apartment that smelled off smoke. The bathtub was filthy, broken blinds, and shaky fan and that just what I noticed when I walked in the door. Had to ask for paperwork that should be given to me before I moved all my things into apartment. It took 3 day for someone to "fix" the smoke smell... all they did was change filters! It did nothing. The washer (outside) leaked half the water during each load of laundry. They gave me a router for internet that wasn't set up... I paid for internet for an entire month without having it... Hopefully I'll have it soon. Had to ask for the management for codes to get into everything I was paying for; management never told me there were more than one or which code when to what. EXTREMELY unhelpful after they have your money. SAVE YOURSELF FROM STUPIDITY! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!
