One of the TOP 10 sandwiches we've ever had!! We plan to visit again very soon. High Street Deli was definitely a high point of our trip.

Can't believe I went to school here, yet never even made it to the pismo location before it burnt down a few weeks ago. Phenomenal experience. We had a big party and were given a separate room. The eggplant Parm was on point and they had good portion sizes (nothing too out of control). If you're in the mood for gnocchi, it is not as rich because it comes with a red sauce. The garli/cheese oil on the table that served with the bread was also a fav.
What a wonderful addition to San Luis Obispo! We hung out at this brewery one super rainy afternoon. The owners/employees were so welcoming and relaxed. It felt like we were just drinking at a friend's house. The beer is great too! I can't wait to go back and hang out on the adorable patio on a sunny day!
Best pizza in SLO hands down. I walked in once and the owner knew me by name every visit thereafter. The pizza is fantastic and has the best crunch to the crust I've found in a long time. Definitely a favorite place to take out of towners too!
You have your pick of the litter as far as deli's go in SLO, but Gus's takes the cake. Whether you take it to go or enjoy a pitcher of beer on the patio, make it a priority to stop here.
Bang the drum is a great addition to SLO! Brews and games in a chill environment. The patio is spectacular and would be the perfect spot for live music.
Village Host has really good !
Lamb is really good. Pizza has more toppings then everyone else
These pizzas are absolutely delicious. It must have something to do with the huge flame in the oven or something. I would suggest the California Pizza Kitchen to anyone.
My son had recently had major surgery at ucla. He went out with his friends to upper crust to celebrate his successful surgery. This was his first trip out after surgery. Dinner went fine until time to pay. He had a $20.00 bill and needed to bring me change because it was all i had till payday. His check was like 13.00 after tip and he needed change. The server knowing he was recovering from surgery refused to give him change and made him run across the parking lot at night going store to store trying to get change to pay his bill. The server told him he had better hurry so he didn't think he was skipping out on the check so my son with no ribs to support his chest and protect his heart was fearful and ran as fast as he could. After that he had to be in bed on pain meds for 3 days. When I called the restaurant the manager on duty hearing my newborn fussing 1 time told me to call back when i could shut my kid up!!!!!!!!I ignoring her comment told her what happened and basically said it was my sons fault for not carrying exact change and could have cared less. She was completely rude and uncaring!!!!and then said "So, what am I supposed to do about it" . I told her a apology would be nice.Needless to say we never got our apology.
