Do not! I repeat do not bring your loved ones here! My Godfather almost died because no one paid attention to the extremely dark and bloody colored urine in his foley bag for over a week(which I told them about the week prior) and green sputum coming from his lungs thru the tracheostomy!! After transferring him to the new facility in this condition the new facility immediately transferred him to the nearest ER. The ER doc told us if he had not got there when he did he would have died from septic shock and pneumonia!! Again I tell you don't allow your loved ones to come to this place! If you don't watch over them carefully no one else will. The staff is incompetent and lazy!! Only taking care of my Godfather in my presence or when someone would complain!! The state inspectors need to pay them a visit!! This is unacceptable!

Placed my mom here. Was at another facility but did not get the care and attention she needed. Like most people when I chose the other facility I went for looks. It was pretty and offered large tvs private rooms the works. When we got in there yes it was pretty but the care below par. My mom got worse by the day. They gave up on treating my mom. I reached out to Almaden I had toured it before but aesthetically it was ok. A little out dated but nice. I explained the situation. They were more than happy to take her and said they have a great rehab team and never give up on their patients. Sure enough my mom is now thriving. She is happy and loves her care team. I learned a lot, I went for looks thinking it came with the excellent care as well, boy was I wrong. Just goes to shows, you can't judge a book by its covers. Thank you Almaden team I will forever be greatfull.
I have been very pleased with Mission De La Casa. My mother-in-law was placed in this facility based on our request. There was very few facilities that we could choose from based on my mother-in-laws needs, dementia, wandering etc and that took MediCal. I assumed that if the facility took MediCal that we might not get the quality that we would at other facilities, but I have to say, even though I don't have a lot of other places to compare to, we have been very pleased at the care of the staff. We get to see my mother-in-law twice a week and sometimes 3 times. Every time we come to see her she is well cared for. They braid her hair and make her look nice. The place is always clean and I always see staff that are in the process of cleaning, so it is something they do on going. The activities director, gets her involved in the music programs and says she loves to sing and dance. When ever we take her out of the facility, several of the staff will say bye to her by name as she is walking out, even though they do not work at her station. On Wednesdays the staff give the patients pedicures and massage their calves and forearms. So even though the place has a hospital feel in the dementia until, the people are so nice and take good care of her. they are always glad to see us and know all our names. So overall I would give them very high ratings. I am very surprised at the other reviews. That has not been my experience at all.
