A recent client of mine purcha...

A recent client of mine purchased her tile and granite here...it was a disaster! The quality was poor, the tiles brittle and uneven (not gauged). The client thought she was saving money but what she saved in the material was exceeded by the labor to install an inferior product. When I first viewed the tile she asked me what I thought it cost and I hit it right on. It looked cheap and it was cheap. Quite often clients will get the name of a place that is really a "good deal" from a friend but I can tell you as someone who has been in this business for over 30 years...stick with a tried and true fabricator and supplier. Materials come from all over the world and the slabs provided to clients at the "good deal" places are usually from the less desirable areas and will have been filled more than is the norm and ultimately crack. I had another client that saved $1000 on her countertop by using someone other than a well respected supplier and when the countertops were delivered the edge detail was on the wall side not the countertop edge! She had no recourse as she had paid for the slab from the supplier and the fabrication and installation were farmed out to an independent fabricator. The best advice I can offer as a professional designer and as a certified master kitchen and bath designer is to use a reputable company and use their stock as well as their fabrication. If something is not right you will have recourse. The finishes are the first thing you see upon entering a room and even the most untrained eye will see an inferior product/installation. They need to be perfect.

Waste of time!!! Was there for over three hours trying to get the tile I wanted. I picked three different types of tile that were shown to be in-stock, and each time they brought me something different and tried to pass it off as what I had paid for! Staff is generally unhelpful. I wouldn't waste my time here.
