I've had better cab rides. Took a cab home while traveling, and since it was the first car in a line of taxis, I didn't really have a choice about the taxi company. The driver was friendly, but got WAY too personal, asking awkward questions. Plus he didn't have a GPS and took the long way to my apt, relying (and messing up) on my directions - he claimed he used to live a few blocks from my place so he should have known the area. Then refused to take off the extra fare that resulted from his mistake.
Next time, I will take Rainbow cab - so much better!
They do not even deserve 1 star, i recived a quote for $100 to san fran, wanted a cheaper option so the taxi driver said it would cost $60 to train station where we could catch the train. When we arrived at train station there were no trains available so we called the driver and he then told us it would be another $100! We askes hin to honour his quote and he said he wouldnt do it and hung up, we then called the company as we were deserted and they told us the would get back to us and never did... This happened 3 times! WORST company ever!
City Cab, a Very Bad taxi company! I ordered two-way taxi drive between home and airport for a long trip. But the driver never showed up. After waiting for 20 minutes, I called their service line 408-998-3333. The dispatch man simply told me there're no other drivers, and offered no help. In order to catch flight, I had to drive my own car, and paid a LOT of parking fee in the airport.
The coordination work in City Cab's office is also bad. After I have already cancelled my returning way driving service, several different drivers still called me to try to pick me up. And some of them assumed a wrong pick-up time.
I called City Cab's office several times for the above event during the past several months, but got no explanation, and no apology at all. Don't be hurt by City Cab !
