Eat elsewhere there are so many better Thai restaurants in the vicinity. We ate here with a large party. The food was mediocre and the service was terribly slow and rude. The staff and managers actually argued and insulted members of my dinner party, despite the large amounts of money spent. The dishes tasted okay but nothing special, but the portions were very TINY. It was as if a they separated one dish into several dishes. We felt cheated. Parking lot is really small, you may have to park on Winchester.

I have to Admit the food here was Good!!! A few things to consider besides the dam roaches that crawl out of the crevices, some of the servers there are jerks, and service was so slow. If you can handle being tossed around with attitude, have a great dinner. I wanted to punch the lights out of the server for being smart when we asked a simple first timers question. Food was spicy, delicious, and great. Pineaplle fried rice was very good.

Not my favorite Thai restaurant in South Bay but the food was decent. My only complaint - parking is a real pain at this restaurant. The parking lot is tiny and is always full. Getting out of the parking lot is very tricky too.
On my last visit I had the Drunken Noodle and the Massaman Curry and they were both delicious. The food is on the spicier side. Even medium has quite a kick. I downed my Thai tea in no time. I remember the sticky rice with mango was pretty good but mango wasn't in season. I ordered the green tea sticky rice with mango ice cream instead and was quite happy with it.

Was looking for a Thai place to eat and looked at reviews on internet for Thai restaurants on Winchester. Took the chance of eating at this place with a rating of 3 stars. Badddddd mistake! Closing time for lunch was at 3pm. Never in my life have I experienced being rushed out of a restaurant like I was here. You figure customers are who make you. The workers had my order wrong and didn't get my order at all because waiter said kitchen is closed! I was rushed and I was hungry and it was just bad service period!

Parking is limited, ya gotta move carefully in the parking lot. Each of the 4 times we've had dinner, there's been a wait (good sign). Staff either can't/won't give good estimate of waiting time. Our 2 noodle dishes (Pad Thai and #43- a wholewheat noodle dish w/ asparagus-fresh, basil on a dark soy foundation) were real good. Veggies were fresh, good use of basil, the chicken was mostly breast meat- a well prepped. The mango sticky rice->dessert, was nicely presented. The 1/2 mango was fully ripe and the rice well-textured and laced w/ condensed milk.
OK- now we get to the service. It's ranged from lackadaisical to terrible- this evening. Our waiter made zero eye contact- not for 1 second. When he walked in our area (and when 2 other servers walked nearby) no one ever looked up- maybe they were studying the carpet. To receive water refills we had to ask 4 times- 3 different folks. We were not offered the condiment tray. When we asked for it, we had to ask 3 folks. One, a waiter at the next table who dropped a nearly-full rice dish on the floor near his guests, brought over a dirty tray at about the same time as a bus person found a clean one. Based on 4 visits, it appears that none of the wait staff has received ANY training in any type of customer service. I saw total indifference.
After we paid and the rest of my party left, I spoke to the person handling the money- that's normally an indication of some degree of trust. I gave him maybe 30 seconds of information- including that we all enjoyed our food. He asked nothing, showed no concern and merely replied ""OK."" As best I can tell, either this place has absentee management or they are so busy that they don't care if they alienate local customers.

I went in to eat at this restaurant as we had many times before. We ordered our food and then about 30 minutes later a family friend came in and we invited her to eat her food with us so she sat with us and ordered her food.
The ordering process was very slow and when we received our dinner we were missing an order of panang chicken. We had ordered 2 orders but instead we received an order of pork kra praw. We tried to get our waiters attention but after waiting forever and not being able to get anyone to help us, we decided to forgo the request and just eat the food we were given. We did try getting another waiter to help us but no luck. Also, when our friend finally received her order she was missing her thai tea and instead was given a sprite. It was again hard to get anyone?s attention.
We received our bill and the waiter added our friend?s bill with ours, even though we had requested they be separated. Our friend was billed for two rice orders and received only one and she was billed for both a thai tea and sprite even though she never received the tea. To top it off, we were charged a 15 % service charge for 6 people when there were only 4 of us altogether. I tried settling this issue with the lady clerk who completely ignored me. She acted like she didn?t speak or understand English. After going back and fourth, she did separate the orders but she didn?t credit my service charge, pork kra praw and my friend?s rice and tea. Instead, she additionally charged us both a 15% service charge.
I called the owner & left messages, no response. I sent a letter but again no response. I won't be going there again!

The review written by Neha Rastogi is absolutely true, these people have a very cheap mentality and Neha I would like to go with you again to Krung Thai to teach these people a nice lesson :o)) so they don't do it again. Even I went with my husband this Friday and really had a bad experience!!! The waitress came with the bill and asked for the tip as if it's her human right. When asked she claimed if you like the food its mandatory to pay the tip. Gosh I was shocked at this ugly behaviour.
Whole of the wait staff including the manager are GREEDY people.
This is my first review for a restaurant, but I had such a bad experience at Krung Thai that I feel its my responsibility to inform other readers about it. My husband and I were here for dinner today and we ordered Thai ice tea with out ice, their house specialty Pad Gra Paw (sp?) and steamed rice. After waiting for about 30 minutes on a busy Friday night we got our Thai ice tea. It tasted fine. After much delay we got our food. Tiny in quantity and ok in taste it was pretty disappointing for a house specialty. We decided not to order anything else and get our cheque. The bigger surprise was yet to come. On the bill the Thai iced tea was 50cents more than the usual as ""We ordered it without ice"". That made us so furious we chose to call the manager/owner. When we asked what is this he said ""well you ordered with out ice and so you end up getting more of the drink as there is no ice hence the extra 50 cents"". We were left agasped.
So frens.........Very poor service+tiny quantities+cheap mentality= Krung Thai. enjoy!
Its a damn hell of place!! Wait staff is GREEDY N RUDE, they will ask for the tip at your face and if u dont give the tip then the next time they will serve you water witout ice and at the top of that the foolish lady there does not understand english n just keeps on singing TIP IS NECESSARY n I WANT MONEY....Dis is not what you would expect from a good restraunt!!! I am rating it 1 coz i cant rate it -1
