I was bored of eating indian food, my cousin and one friend took me to this restaurant. My Cousin placed the order on my behalf. Food was on table within 10-15 mins. Food was looking beautiful, I started tasting it. What to say about the taste AMAZING!!! My mom was shocked that i had INDIAN food in RESTAURANT.. that's called magic of this restaurant. Try and let me know if I am right or ..?

Just went here for the first time last night and was very dissapointed with service overall.
I made Dinner reservations for 6:30. Me and my date show up and they make us wait even though they have tables obviously available. We are at the bar and the hostess forgot about us and let another couple just walk in without reservations and get seated before us at the last available booth (my girlfriend prefers booths).
We Order the kung pao chicken lollipops as appetizer WITHOUT cashews because my GF is allergic to nuts. Appetizer comes out with cashews on top. We tell server and she brings it back to the kitchen, about a minute later we see the server bring the same exact plate of chicken to another table right by us.
For dinner we order the emperor's fried rice WITHOUT shrimp because my GF is allergic to shellfish. As we are waitng we joke that it will probably come with shrimp. Sure enough the fried rice has shrimp include in the fried rice. We tell server to bring us a new one without shrimp and also a plain steam white rice. Server comes back about 15 minutes later with our rice (cold) and forgets to bring the steamed white rice.
My GF still had a minor allergic reaction and we are assuming it is because they just removed the shrimp and let it sit for awhile.

I would say the worst Hyderabad-i Biryani i had ever had. It lacks the basics of Biryani, taste and flavor. I think this is an outcome of an in-experienced cook....... they think adding lots of spices makes food tasty. Finally we had to leave most of the food over there.......
I had a great expectation from a restaurant which claims to be one the best Indian restaurant in the bay area. Not at all worth the price. Not at all recommended.

I am 500% convinced that the positive reviews written here are written by the staff themselves! This has to be WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE.of my LIFE. I'll keep it short and to the point. The food is okie types but overtly prized and the Manager is EXTREMELY RUDE. They are over their head due to making so much money but do not care for customers. If you object to something they are very rude and say absurd things like ""I can challenge you"" and this comes from the manager himself. Being an Indian read more >I am complaining about this Indian restaurant and I feel sorry to say that they are DISCRIMINATORY against Indians. I have had great food and exceptional service at various other Indian restaurants and this was undobtedly my WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE.

I went there twice both the times i made reservations. First time even after reaching there on time we got a table after waiting for 45 min. Second time again the same thing happened and i left the place after waiting for 30 min. Their waiting area is awefully small and right in front of the restrooms.
Food is ok types not that good and service is very very slow and poor.
