The programs offered at this center is amazing. They have dance class, HIIT and even Spinning sessions at certain times of the week.
Serving the San Jose Area.
The first thing you expect from a business is to open on time. They are supposed to be open at 5am on weekdays. I've joined on April 29th and started going to the gym at 5am the following day. Everyday from April 30th to May 2nd, the opener is either running a few minutes late or running from the parking lot 2 minutes prior to 5am and actually unlocking the doors at 5am. May 3rd is particularly awful. They opened the doors at 524am. There were about 17 of us waiting outside and some couldn't wait and just left. I wrote on their facebook wall that day and the owner called me and assured me that this will never happen again. Well guess what, on May 9th, the doors were unlocked at 502am. On May 14, the doors were unlocked at 531am. May 15th, unlocked the doors at exactly 5am and we even had to hold the doors open for the person behind us since the doors were not fully unlocked. The opener probably gets there on time (445am according to owner) once a week, the rest of the time, she is late or unlocks the door at exactly 5am.This location is fairly clean and the staff are friendly. My conclusion, if you are a morning person and wants to get in this gym at exactly 5am, it is not going to happen. I know the membership is cheap but this doesn't mean that they can open whenever they feel like it.Oh and they keep deleting my wall posts on their facebook page.
If you are a person who just wants to go to the gym, workout and go home....this is the gym for you. The staff don't associate with the members, I have never seen a Personal Trainer train anyone, and in fact I have seen a Personal Trainer bring in his own trainer and be trained. The atmosphere is unmotivated, the machines are constantly breaking, and the place is dirty. I don't see the staff ever clean, let alone come out from behind the desk. They all hide in the back office and disassociate themselves from the members. I do still go to this location only on the weekends because of all the reasons I stated above. The rest of the week, I go to other locations because the staff are more welcoming/friendly, the atmosphere is more motivating, the building/machines are cleaner and it's always a positive experience.
Great app to find out more about planning on going out to eat if use it all the time to find restaurant and business and school and to make travel plan
I would highly recommend AVAC. The staff is friendly and helpful. I think the biggest perk is that this gym is very family oriented. The Absolutfit classes are high energy and the Trainers are educated. I also love the pilates classes. All of the friendly members make for a nice environment. Also, the childcare and the staff are amazing. My kids always leave happy. Thanks, AVAC!
Very great customer service n very clean
Very good location.........
This is a really lovely, upscale place to eat and shop. Unfortunately, most of the stores are too expensive for me to consider buying anything, but it’s fun to look.
I have used the blood donation services of the American Red Cross since I joined the U.S. Air Force back in 1969. Over the five (5) past decades, I have never had so much as a single bad cookie, let alone a bad experience with a blood donation. Last October 2011 my wife and I were on our 40st Anniversary celebration by cruising up to Alaska when during breakfast of the second day a ship-wide announcement of need for anyone with A+ blood and a Red Cross card. I was there in two minutes, as were dozens of other people. Many of us were screened, a few gave blood while the rest of us waited; 5 pints brought the person through. The wife and daughter of the person in need came out to thank us, but initially broke down in tears when then they saw the dozens and dozens of us sitting in chairs, on the floor, and up the stairs to the next floors. That was enough gratitude to make ME appreciate the VALUE of that little white card I always carry in my wallet. What do you carry in your pocket? Better be a Red Cross card - could save your life! So, how many "STARS" is a life worth? I never knew this person on this ship. He and his family were the first to be whisked off to the hospital at the first Port of Call, so never got to meet him, know his name. Nonetheless, any person's life is worth 5 stars! Hope you agree.
