First off I want to tell you that I am a very skeptical car buyer when it comes to buying from a dealer. I just don't like the negotiation process and the unknowns associated with it.My experience with Momentum Chevrolet was extremely positive. I was first contacted by Vanessa Lobo who did an excellent job in making me feel comfortable on the whole purchase process. James Gallagher explain me all the features of the Chevy Volt, the rebates and the other benefits associated with and EV. He was very patient and answered all my queries to to my complete satisfaction. Helmand Anwary helped me get the best rebates I was eligible for and further enhanced my buying experience.Last but not the least, Christian Gonzales walked me thru all the vehicle features, made sure he answered all my queries and helped me keep my old car in a safe location. He again called me after a couple of days to check if I had any further questions and inquire how I was doing.In todays commercial world when everyone is focussed on meeting quarterly/yearly targets, the personal touch is lost. I have to say that my experience with Momentum Chevrolet was out of the world. They have changed my opinion about buying a car from a dealer. I hate shopping for new cars. When walking on a lot you feel like meat in a Piranha tank. NOT here!! You are welcomed but it is not overwhelming. I already had contact with Michael Peek as I searched online for something fuel efficient and asked for someone to contact me. We stopped by on Friday night and he helped us out. We came to look at the 2014 Chevy Cruze but we were undecided so He set us up with John Altringer. He brought out cars that were in OUR range and not theirs. He was super friendly and you felt like you already knew him. Michael is business savvy and works #s but it is in your benefit and what will work for you. John is super cool and brings his personal experience to help you make a decision. They say they are a family owned business there and you can feel that. We had a few hiccups because it was Memorial Day weekend and crazy busy but they made up for it 3x over. David Hayes the General Sales Manager hooked us up to compensate. The Finance Director who did our contract( im sorry but cant remember her name) even went the extra mile and made sure we had the best deal we could get. 5* all the way. We bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze. Our focus was fuel efficient and they really hooked us up. Thanks guys for making this experience painless! We LOVE our car!!!!
My car buying experience at Momentum left a bad taste in my mouth. The purchasing part was fine, with Tony and Al being helpful and friendly. I wanted to pay cash and said I could come back the next day with the money, but Tony offered a special deal to purchase on the spot. I put down $2500 on a credit card and signed financing papers for the balance, with the agreement that I could pay the balance within the next three days and they'd tear up the financing docs. Well, I arranged a wire transfer from my bank to Momentum's that arrived within 48 hours. I followed up by phone to verify that the wire was successful and to ask for an email saying the car was paid in full. I called and left a dozen messages for Tony, Al, Steve in finance, and anybody else I could think of, but nobody returned my calls. How hard would that have been? It took me four days to get a one-line message saying the wire transfer was completed, with no mention that the car was paid in full. What's that about? I can't imagine the whole dealership was too busy to return my call(s).
I went to two other Subaru dealers, but Capitol Subaru earned my business and respect. The staff, especially Al, was friendly and professional. I wasn't even greeted at the Stevens Creek location! At the Seaside location, I was shown the cup holder and the light up mirror and asked if I knew about eye sight. Al at Capitol Subaru made me feel comfortable. He asked and answered questions. Here we are almost two months later and he still calls to ask how I like my car! He also helped me track down my license plates. Capitol and Al get an A+
We were in a situation where we had to buy a Prius for our son sight unseen and long-distance. Over a 3-weekperiod, our internet sales person, Rick Perez, gave us a very good price and took great careof us during the whole transaction. He was professional and courteous throughout.He even picked us up at the airport in San Jose and took us straightto the dealership to get the car.All was delivered as promised and my son is delighted with his new car. Someone broke my passenger side window. I called LYG he gave me a great price quote and explained his quality glass product that he uses in comparison to his competition. I verified that it is true, his quality is much higher than what his competitors use. The price is also great. I brought my car there and he changed the glass quickly and the window is as good as new now! I would highly recommend LYG Auto Glass to anyone who has a broken car window.
My truck was making some loud whining noise from the rear axle differential when I drove it on the freeway. I took it to the dealer and they quoted me over $3000 to do the repair. I looked this place up on Google and got a quote over the phone for less than half that amount. They picked my truck up from the dealer, did the rear end gear repair and had me back on the road in less than 2 days! Couldn't be happier with the experience.
My car was stuck in Hayward and I tried calling a few companies and got no response. It was closer to midnight. I got a response right away from H and Towing and they were able to meet me within 30 minutes!!! They towed my car back to South San Jose. The service was great! The price was very fair and the driver was very professional! I definitely recommend H and R Towing to everybody!
