First off I want to tell you that I am a very skeptical car buyer when it comes to buying from a dealer. I just don't like the negotiation process and the unknowns associated with it.My experience with Momentum Chevrolet was extremely positive. I was first contacted by Vanessa Lobo who did an excellent job in making me feel comfortable on the whole purchase process. James Gallagher explain me all the features of the Chevy Volt, the rebates and the other benefits associated with and EV. He was very patient and answered all my queries to to my complete satisfaction. Helmand Anwary helped me get the best rebates I was eligible for and further enhanced my buying experience.Last but not the least, Christian Gonzales walked me thru all the vehicle features, made sure he answered all my queries and helped me keep my old car in a safe location. He again called me after a couple of days to check if I had any further questions and inquire how I was doing.In todays commercial world when everyone is focussed on meeting quarterly/yearly targets, the personal touch is lost. I have to say that my experience with Momentum Chevrolet was out of the world. They have changed my opinion about buying a car from a dealer. I hate shopping for new cars. When walking on a lot you feel like meat in a Piranha tank. NOT here!! You are welcomed but it is not overwhelming. I already had contact with Michael Peek as I searched online for something fuel efficient and asked for someone to contact me. We stopped by on Friday night and he helped us out. We came to look at the 2014 Chevy Cruze but we were undecided so He set us up with John Altringer. He brought out cars that were in OUR range and not theirs. He was super friendly and you felt like you already knew him. Michael is business savvy and works #s but it is in your benefit and what will work for you. John is super cool and brings his personal experience to help you make a decision. They say they are a family owned business there and you can feel that. We had a few hiccups because it was Memorial Day weekend and crazy busy but they made up for it 3x over. David Hayes the General Sales Manager hooked us up to compensate. The Finance Director who did our contract( im sorry but cant remember her name) even went the extra mile and made sure we had the best deal we could get. 5* all the way. We bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze. Our focus was fuel efficient and they really hooked us up. Thanks guys for making this experience painless! We LOVE our car!!!!
I live in constant fear of being ripped off by car repair shops, but my experience at Michaels & Co was pleasant and ALL around 5 stars!!! This repair shop does it all!!! Bill was my service advisor. He was extremely helpful with making me feel comfortable knowing that my car was in good hands. My check engine light was on so, I left my car for them to check out and get back to me with an estimate. He checked it out, and called me with an estimate half of what the dealer gave me. I wasn't pressured into any of the recommended repairs by warnings of imminent road disasters, like I have at other shops. The prices and labor costs seemed fair. He even told me that a few of the parts were optional at this time even saving me more money. He made me feel very comfortable about spending my money. Thanks Bill!!! I DEFNITELY KNOW WHERE ILL BE TAKING MY CARS FOR REPAIR!!! They also offer shuttle service in case you need a ride back home or to work. The service is fabulous and they are an honest company. It’s hard to find a good Auto repair shop that won’t rip you off these days. Try Michaels & CO, you will not regret it!
My car buying experience at Momentum left a bad taste in my mouth. The purchasing part was fine, with Tony and Al being helpful and friendly. I wanted to pay cash and said I could come back the next day with the money, but Tony offered a special deal to purchase on the spot. I put down $2500 on a credit card and signed financing papers for the balance, with the agreement that I could pay the balance within the next three days and they'd tear up the financing docs. Well, I arranged a wire transfer from my bank to Momentum's that arrived within 48 hours. I followed up by phone to verify that the wire was successful and to ask for an email saying the car was paid in full. I called and left a dozen messages for Tony, Al, Steve in finance, and anybody else I could think of, but nobody returned my calls. How hard would that have been? It took me four days to get a one-line message saying the wire transfer was completed, with no mention that the car was paid in full. What's that about? I can't imagine the whole dealership was too busy to return my call(s).
Good fast service. Alamo did not capture a small fortune on my debit card for security as other rental companies do, a huge bonus; they simply hold the total rental fee.For once I took out collision insurance, kind of got talked into it. But a black scrape mark turned up on the front bumper somehow . . . and no questions asked, did not have a last minute hassle with my own insurance deductable, etc. Got away very fast with no problems.One thing I did not like: they gave me a keyring with all three keys on it: two of the expensive micro-chip security keys and one normal key and the keyring WAS CRIMPED TOGETHER so that the keys could not be separated. And there was a tag on the key ring which stated "Average Key Replacement Cost $225." Go figure. That's 3x$225 if you lose the single keyring, and of course having the three keys together on a permanently locked keyring is useless for redundant access. They need to CHANGE THIS and I was tempted to rate three stars but I got over it.
I recently had the horrible experience of finding that my car had been hit while I shopped at the mall. It was devastating since the guilty party had already fled the scene. As a long-time Geico policy member, I asked them to recommend a body shop and I was sent to 101 Auto Body and Paint . They were excellent; it was such a smooth sail. The employees were very courteous and helpful. Singh , the manager, oversaw the work done to my car, he was honest, professional and very reassuring; he made sure that every detail was taken care of. They truly provide top quality work. I was more than satisfied and would highly recommend anyone who needs auto repair work to visit 101 Auto Body and paint. My car looked like new when I picked it up, I couldn't believe it, I am eternally grateful. If I ever need any repairs done in the future, I know I can count on them to provide exceptional work. I have recently had my car repaired by 101 Auto Body and I am really impressed by the work they have done. My car had been in an accident and the door was completely smashed in. I took my car into 101 Auto Body the next day and they totally took care of me. I was given a new rental car on the spot that was totally covered by insurance, didn't cost me a thing. They replaced my car door, took out all the other dings/dents from the accident, painted it, and made it like new in a very timely manner. The quality of the work is top notch, this place really makes sure things are done right. From body work to paint, this shop by far does the best work in Bay Area. The service is excellent and everything is made super convenient. I would recommend 101 Auto Body to anyone without hesitation.
I came to Platinum Autoworks and I had a few things done to my car. I not only upgraded the sound, but also added a little custom work to make my driving experience a little easier.Here is what I got done: I got a pioneer double din with navi installed in my civic by Patrick. He had to customize the dash in order to fit it in. It looks like it came from the manufacture!I also had a rear view camera installed as well. I was just starting to look at used cars, I wasn't in a big hurry. I knew I wanted an SUV. The money I had to spend wouldn't be released until the Tuesday after I happened upon Auto outlet. This was on Sunday, Father's Day, I found an expedition I loved. It was a 2006 but fully loaded and in good shape. Still nervous about buying used and ten years old. I didn't want to finance. I had a certain amount I wanted to spend. The expedition was a 3 thousand out of my price. After negotiating, they came down to just $500 above what I had. They agreed to let me drive that expedition off the lot that day, return by Wednesday with the amount I had and let me pay the rest over a couple of months. I was amazed.
