We traveled almost 1600 miles to San Francisco for our 29th wedding anniversary. We made a reservation over 3 months in advance, we had a 6:00 reservation and we did not get a drink until 6:35. I told the waitress and the manager, I believe his name was Jeremy that we had a show at 8:00. We finally got out of there at 8:15. We were very very disappointed. Oh and by the way I got back to the hotel just in time to take a big crap, came out like water, not happy.
This is not my first time here and it won't be my last time either! Food was phenomenal as usual. The time, the pork belly was good, nice and juicy and fatty, just the way pork belly should be.
Excellent. Food can be heavy so go in there hungry and bring some home. Great airy southern feel with jazz in the background. It's a short walk from the bus stop, too.
I ordered a club sandwich and the mayo was sour. My glass had lipstick all over it, and after paying $50 for a two sandwiches, I feel like we got ripped off. They don't seem to give s sh*t either.
Pricy, and not great for Vegetarians. (Very small selection)What I had, was very good, but very pricy.Service was excellent.
I go here all the time! one of my favorite breakfast spots in The City, as a native San Franciscan. NEVER had a bad experience and any time my order has been wrong, they fix it with a pleasant attitude and I end up with extra food due to their blunder.
If you're looking for beautiful, scenic views of the ocean and delicious food, the Cliff House is the place to come! Be sure to make a reservation and request a table near the bay windows! You can even take the elevator down and walk along the outside deck! The food is also high quality and the staff is friendly!
We always stop by for some delicious clam chowder in a freshly baked bread bowl. Kids love the animal shaped bread.
The sourdough bread bowl with clam chowder is great on a windy cold summer day at Fisherman's Wharf.
A bit pricey for clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl, but just part of the San Francisco experience.
