I found their website to be really helpful, not only listing the dimensions of every single futon mattress, but listing all the ""ingredients"" they used to make them as well! I wanted a futon for daily usage as bed, so getting quality ingredients inside my futon was very important to me, and The Futon Shop didn't disappoint. By the time I went down to my local store I knew exactly the kind of mattress I wanted to purchase, and was able to drive it home from their San Francisco location that very day.
I got a latex memory foam mattress that is just about the most comfortable thing I have ever slept on... I love it, and I love how easy they made it to select!

These guys are complete scam artist. The owner, Susie, is a complete fraud. I have never talked to anyone so rude and just flat out doesn't tell the truth. This is the worst experience i could imagine for a online purshase. The futon i received was either used or had been a floor demo for sometime. The cover was very dirty, the legs were scratched, the cover had a hole in it and it was packed without any padding. The hardwear was just thrown in a plastic bag like you would get at a gas station. I took pictures of everything and then refused the shipment. The owner Susie claimed there was nothing wrong with it and there was not holes-- that is until i pointed out I had pictures. Then she said i must have done it on purpose. They refused to give my money back. If you buy from this company you are either uninformed or a complete idiot. Consider yourself informed now.

I want to know each futon's dimension before I drive over and look at them physically because I need a specific sized futon to fit into my room.Their web site doesn't have the data for each futon. So they just lost a visitor to their store on Caesar Chavez.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with an on line retailer.
My wife and I ordered a futon complete set on line from the futon shop and stipulated that we needed weekend or evening delivery. We were called (after being charged for and paying for the product) by the transport company and told that the product could only be delivered on a weekday from 1-5. We tried to reach The Futon Shop and got no response. We changed our plans for Columbus day to get the product delivered, waited all day and the product came shattered. We called and told them that we were refusing delivery as they had not shipped us a usable product and we asked for a full refund of our money. The company was very rude to me when I did not respond happily to them. They would not refund my money and I was told to take it up with American Express. We have no product and no refund. Hopefully, Amex will resolve the issue.
